Cardiff City News and Form – Can the Bluebirds get back to winning ways at home?
The Bluebirds started life under Neil Harris with a hard-fought draw at The Valley last Saturday. Cardiff City found themselves 2-0 down to Lee Bowyer’s Charlton Athletic at half time, but the Welsh side struck back with goals from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Lee Tomlin to leave with a deserved 2-2 draw.
Cardiff are still searching for their first away win since prevailing at Old Trafford in the Premier League back in May. Since then, City have drawn five and lost four of nine on the road. At the Cardiff City Stadium, though, they have won five, drawn two and lost one, with only Preston North End and Derby County picking up more home points.
That sole home defeat came in their last home match, as rivals Bristol City left with a 1-0 win. That proved to be Neil Warnock’s last game in charge of the Bluebirds. Can Cardiff return to winning ways in front of their own supporters in Harris’ first home game in charge on Tuesday?

Stoke City News and Form – Three wins in a row for O’Neill’s Potters?
Stoke City won just two of their opening 15 Championship games this season. However, since bringing in Northern Ireland boss Michael O’Neill, the Potters have won two out of two.
Having beaten Barnsley 4-2 at Oakwell before the international break, Stoke came from behind to see off Wigan Athletic at the bet365 Stadium last weekend, with Mame Biram Diouf’s winning goal coming in injury time.
Stoke have certainly turned a corner of late, winning four of their last seven, and two on the spin under O’Neill. Having seen off Swansea City back in early October to claim their first Championship victory of the season, can Stoke win in South Wales again this Tuesday?

Cardiff City vs Stoke City Predictions
Cardiff City win: Harris’ Bluebirds showed plenty of fighting spirit to come from two goals down to draw 2-2 at The Valley last weekend. City looked dead and buried at the break, but they really turned on the heat in the second period. Meanwhile, after losing the Severnside derby at home to Bristol City in their last home outing, Cardiff will be desperate to hit back in this one.
Stoke have won two on the spin under O’Neill, scoring six times along the way. However, a trip to Cardiff will be the new boss’ toughest assignment yet. Back the home side to prevail in this one, which is available at 7/5. Also, put some money on the hosts to win and both teams to score at the tasty odds of 4/1.
