Collide hoping to return to British racing with a bang

After winning six times last year, Land Of Oz (4/1 with Paddy Power) ran in the valuable Cesarewitch at Newmarket on his final start but finished tailed off.
That confirmed the impression that the handicapper had finally got his measure and another 2lb rise makes a victory here at a best 7/2 unlikely over a trip that is probably the absolute minimum.
Race-fit Cosmelli proving a good servant
Cosmelli keeps plugging away and is effective between 1m4f and 2m.
He had a run at Newcastle at the start of the month and that should have blown away any cobwebs. His last victory came at Chelmsford so the 12/1 with Bet365 could be interesting for each-way purposes.
Marathon has now got to grips with longer distances
Previously thought best over distances between 1m and 1m2f, Battle of Marathon has proved himself over further in recent seasons.
He’s now an eight-year-old but his enthusiasm remains and he’s already won three times since the turn of the year.
Successful over 1m6f at Musselburgh last season, John Ryan’s veteran (16/1 with Paddy Power) could put younger rivals to the sword here with Darragh Keenan’s 3lb a plus.
