Here, take a look at our Cheltenham Festival 2017 Winner Odds & Predictions for our feature races

Supreme Novices – 14th March 2017

This is one of the big attractions in the entire Festival. You have the much hyped Melon at 10/3 William Hill taking on the field. There are stiff challenges from Ballyandy, Bunk Off Early and Crack Mome to name a few. It is going to take something special to stop Melon though, espcially after the withdrawal of Finian’s Oscar who looked as if he could turn up a pose a big threat.

Melon 10/3, Ballyandy 7/2, Bunk Off Early 15/2, River Wylde 8/1, Crack Mome 12/1, bar 18/1

Arkle – 14th March 2017

Another cracking race here with Altior being one of the heavily backed bankers of Festival. He is a heavy odds on at 2/7 with Bet365 for the win, so our tip is to ride Charbel in the Without Altior market in what is likely to be a one-sided Arkle.

Altior 2/7, Charbel 12/1, Royal Caviar 20/1, Cloudy Dream 25/1, Forest Bihan 25/1, bar 28/1

Champion Hurdle – 14th March 2017

Yarnworth goes at the head of the field but he hasn’t done too much to impress backers. So we are going to skip him and put our hat on Brain Power who is a vastly improving handicapper and at a tempting price of 15/2 to sweep the win, he is the value runner in a competitive field.

Yanworth 3/1, Buveur D’Air 11/2, Brain Power 15/2, Petit Mouchoir 8/1, Moon Racer 10/1, The New One 14/1, bar 18/1

Mares Hurdle – 14th March 2017

The big threats in the field are Limini and Vroum Vroum Mag. However, Apple’s Jade at 5/1 with Bet365 is a better stayer than either of those, while Jers Girl is the big 12/1 each way shot in the field. As for a winner, we are edging the staying power of Apples Jade.

Limini 13/8, Vroum Vroum Mag 3/1, Apples Jade 5/1, Jers Girl 12/1, Lifeboat Mona 18/1, bar 28/1

National Hunt Chase – 14th March 2017

A Genie in a Bottle looks the worthy favourite in this one, but he is joined at the head of the betting field by Edwulf. There are concerns about the latter’s jumping so stick with the former at 11/2 at William Hill. A decent each way wager in the National Hunt Chase would be Champers On Ice at 9/1 who is in with a chance.

Edwulf 11/2, A Genie In A Bottle 11/2, Beware the Bear 8/1, Champers on Ice 9/1, Arpege Dalene 12/1, bar 14/1

Neptune – 15th March 2017

This could be such an evenly contested race and it is a bit up in the air. Neon Wolf is 15/8 Bet365 favourite for the win, with Barclays tracking at 3/1 just behind. Out of the two we are siding with Neon Wolf who has just surged to the head of the field off the back of impressive runs. Yanworth shouldn’t be far off though.

Neon Wolf 15/8, Barcardyss 3/1, Death Duty 7/1, Let’s Dance 7/1, Messire Des Obeaux 10/1, Willoughby Court 10/1, bar 12/1

RSA Chase – 15th March 2017

No-one has been able to touch Mite Bight at the head of the RSA Chase market, but we don’t see the value in him ahead of Cheltenham Festival 2017 betting. Not with so many serious contenders in the field going off. We are rolling with American in this one to pack a mighty punch in a wide-open contest

Might Bite 4/1, Alpha Des Obeaux 13/2, Acapella Bourgeois 7/1, Whisper 8/1, American 9/1, Bellshill 12/1, Disk 12/1, Royal Vacation 12/1, bar 16/1

Champion Chase – 15th March 2017

The market is bang on the nose for this one with Douvan a massive odds-on favourite. No-one in the field has the quality to stop him winning this race so you are basically looking at the Without Douvan market for value here. We are going to roll with God’s Own to take second place.

Douvan 2/7, Fox Norton 8/1, God’s Own 14/1, Special Tiara 20/1, bar 33/1

Champion Bumper  – 15th March 2017

Carter McKay is the one to beat in this one without a shadow of a doubt. This flat race should be a cracker to end day two of Cheltenham 2017. We are going with Western Ryder though who is running great form at the moment and carried extra weight in a second place to Daphne Du Clos at Newbury. At 8/1 Western Ryder is too tempting to skip.

Carter McKay 4/1, Someday 8/1, Western Ryder 8/1, Cause Toujours 10/1, Debuchet 12/1, Fayonagh 12/1, bar 16/1

JLT Novices – 16th March 2017

A winner last year in the Neptune, Yorkhill comes in to the Ryanair and looks likely to walk away with the JLT win. He is a clear market favourite here and was one of the most impressive winners at Prestbury Park last year. No-one is likely to lay down as serious enough challenge to his 6/4 Bet365 supremacy.

Yorkhill 6/4, Top Notch 4/1, Disko 11/2, Politologue 7/1, Charbel 12/1, Bellshill 16/1, Flying Angel 16/1, bar 25/1.

Ryannair – 16th March 2017

There’s only one horse here for us who is going to come away with the Festival trophy and this is Un De Sceaux. The 2015 Arkle winner has the pedigree and will handle the distance because of his superb staying power. Douvan is right there as joint favourite alongside him, but we are backing reigning Tingle Creek and Clarence House champion.

Douvan 5/1, Un De Sceaux 5/2, Empire Of Dirt 4/1, Uxizandre 5/1, Sub Lieutenant 8/1, Josses Hill 9/1, bar 14/1

Stayers Hurdle – 16th March 2017

Formerly the World Hurdle of course and the field is wide open for this three mile trip. You ahve Jezki and Unowhwatimeanharry likely going to be the ones scrapping it out for the title. The inactivity of the former though, sends more value to Youknowwhatimeanharry who looks an outstanding horse at his distance. It’s unlikely that the rest of the field will stay with him.

Unowhwatimeanharry 11/8, Jezki 7/1, Shanshill 7/1, Vroum Vroum Mag 7/1, Yanworth 8/1, Cole Harden 9/1, Nichols Canyon 10/1, Apples Jade 16/1, Ballyoptic 16/1, bar 18/1

Triumph Hurdle

We are looking forward to this one as everyone looks capable of beating everyone else. Defi Du Seuil at 2/1 favourite with William Hill looks well over rated and Charli Parcs gets our nod at 6/1. If he had gone in the Triumph Hurdle (pulled because of soft ground), Charli Parcs would have been favoured over Defi Du Seuil. That’s says value to us while Landofhopeandglory makes cracking 16/1 each way value.

Defi Du Seuil 2/1, Charli Parcs 6/1, Master Blueyes 7/1, Mega Fortune 7/1, Bapaume 10/1, Landofhopeandlgory 16/1, bar 20/1

Cheltenham Gold Cup

The Blue Riband race of the Festival and the Djakadam experience at 4/1 William Hill is what tips it for us. He has taken back to back runners up spots at the Gold Cup but he is still improving and can outstay the field in this one. We are looking at the each way value on Bristol De Mai at 20/1 Bet365 to make an impact in the race.

Native River 7/2, Cue Card 4/1, Djakadam 4/1, Sizing John 10/1, Empire Of Dirt 12/1, Outlander 12/1, More Of That 14/1, Champagne West 16/1, Bristol De Mai 20/1, 25/1 bar
