Magistrato 7/4 FAV in Cheltenham JCB Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle Racing Odds

Lining up as the current favourite in Cheltenham horse racing betting on Saturday in this Grade 2 juvenile hurdle is MAGISTRATO at 7/4* (odds recorded at 19:38 GMT on November 12th, 2021 at Coral)

He was a runner up on his debut in France, against one who has since gone on to win at Listed level.

Magistrato moved to a new yard then and made a positive start for Paul Nicholls a month ago at Chepstow.

It was a strong enough jump performance to expect Magistrato to be back in the thick of things. There should be more progress to come.

KNIGHTS SALUTE
9/2

Knight Salute can’t be counted out

With two wins from two, KNIGHT SALUTE defends an unbeaten record on the weekend and looks like a good prospect.

His flat form is well worth ignoring, but since being moved to the hurdles for a new yard he has come to life.

Knight Salute banked a win on his hurdles debut at Sedgefield before following up at Kempton.

He still looks as if he has further improvement to come.

But if he settles into his game quickly then Knight Salute will have a chance as a 4/1 contender* (odds recorded at 19:38 GMT on November 12th, 2021 at Coral)

Addosh in with a chance

Addosh did have winning form on the flat before being moved over to the jumps.

On her second effort over the hurdles, she picked up a win at Market Rasen.

That was in September and she found a nice turn of foot to land the score. She was back in the frame on his follow up as well.

Addosh was travelling very nicely at Wetherby before unseating her rider three from home.

That was in a Listed contest and she could be ready for this higher grade.

Addosh is a quote of 11/2* (odds recorded at 19:38 GMT on November 12th, 2021 at Coral)

Mister Allegro defends unbeaten record

It has been two wins from two for MISTER ALLEGRO who could pose a threat at Cheltenham on the weekend.

He is another whose form was only average at best on the flat but has come to life since being sent to the timbers.

Mister Allegro scored at Ludlow on his hurdles debut, before following up with a score at Wincanton three weeks ago.

This is a tougher task for him, but there has been nothing wrong with his jumping performances so far.

He could bring more to the table.

Mister Allegro is a quote of 11/2 to pick up the score in Cheltenham horse racing betting* (odds recorded at 19:38 GMT on November 12th, 2021 at Coral)

Rocky Man could find improvement

On his hurdles debut, ROCKY MAN took a runner up spot on his first run for David Skelton.

That was a promising run in the sphere.

He was beaten by Magistrato in it, however. But at the same time, Rocky Man looked like he needed the trip and could be better this time out.

Rocky Man was a winner in France on a 2m trip in France and looks like a lively prospect from 14/1* (odds recorded at 19:38 GMT on November 12th, 2021 at Coral)

The rest of the runners

CARAMELISED looks like a promising hurdler and won his first two in this sphere. The second of those wins saw him beat Addosh under a penalty.

He wasn’t quite back in the same kind of form at Market Rasen on his latest, but with the headgear on for the first time, Caramelised could work his way into this.

SAINT RIQUIER took second place at Huntingdon a couple of weeks ago over the hurdles. The cheekpieces seemed to help there, and is no forlorn hope.

YORK SEA steps into his hurdles debut in this one. He comes from a good yard but could have his hands full in this one in such a strong contest.

ALIOMAAMA scored at Perth in September in a maiden to get herself off the mark. Her follow up was good as well, taking second place to one that she conceded 7lb to and has since gone on to win. Aliomaana comes from an in-form yard.

Predictions & Tips for Cheltenham JCB Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle Racing Odds

This is a very good renewal of this contest and there are plenty in this deep field who have a good chance.

The first pick for the shortlist in Cheltenham horse racing betting is KNIGHT SALUTE at 9/2* (odds recorded at 19:38 GMT on November 12th, 2021 at Coral)

His yard is in top form at the moment and Knight Salute has looked a natural over the hurdles so far and has more to come.

MISTER ALLEGRO looks to have a good jumping game and even though he is going to have to find more for this effort, he is not one to overlook on Saturday.

The first performance for MAGISTRATO for Paul Nicholls was good, taking that win at Chepstow.

It’s not hard to imagine that he has been sharpened up even more for this.
