Crystal Palace v Bournemouth Betting Tips – Premier League 9th December 3.00pm

Palace will fancy their chances of picking up some more point at Selhurst Park as they look to scrap their way a little bit closer to getting out of the drop zone. They are now in current form which has seen them lose just one of their last six league fixtures, so they have been showing resilience. Bournemouth collected a point in their south-coast derby with Southampton last weekend and they have shown a decent amount of fight out on the road recently. But will they have enough goals in them to break the Eagles?

Crystal Palace News and Form

Palace have managed to at least get out of the bottom spot in the Premier League table and are edging their way closer to getting out of the drop zone altogether. They played out a 0-0 draw with West Brom last weekend and that has left them four games unbeaten in the top flight now (W1 D3). So clear improvements have happened under Roy Hodgson. Goal difference would prevent them getting out of the drop zone even if they were to win this game this weekend. Their recent form at Selhurst Park has been solid with a W2 L2 unbeaten record in their last four there. They have returned exactly two goals in each of their last four home games as well and in the Coral correct score market, a Crystal Palace 2-0 option is there at 15/2 which is the same quote on them winning 2-1. Wilfried Zaha continues to shine and he can be baked at 2/1 odds to score anytime. Palace’s eight home goals all season have all come in their last four. 71% of their home fixtures this term in the top flight have gone over 2.5 goals because of their defence and this could go the same way. 75% of the goals that Palace have conceded at home this term have been in the first half of matches. Palace have scored just the two opening goals all season in all of their league games home and away.

Bournemouth News and Form

Bournemouth felt a little hard done by after being denied a penalty in a 1- draw with Southampton. That has left them with a W2 D2 L1 record in their last five league games which isn’t all that bad. They are currently unbeaten in three games away from home, taking a W2 D1 record from that and overall they are W2 D1 L4 away from the Vitality. Both of those away wins have been by a one goal margin. Both teams to score at Coral collects a price of 10/11 even though only five teams have scored fewer goals than the Cherries have done this season, Palace being one of them. Bournemouth looks a well organised side if lacking in the attacking department at times. Defensively no one in the bottom half of the table has done better than they, but can they deliver going forward or back that up? Their shortest priced options in the anytime goalscorer market are Callum Wilson and Jermain Defoe who are both at 9/4. Bournemouth have scored only the four away goals this season in the top flight and this could well end up being a pretty tight match.

Crystal Palace v Bournemouth Head to Head
