Crystal Palace v Manchester City Betting Tips:
The Eagles have done a remarkable job of pulling themselves up to mid table safety. Tony Pulis has turned things around at the club remarkably well, and they are on a hot streak. They have won their last five and have kept clean sheets in four of those. Under Tony Pulis, the Eagles have only conceded 20 goals in 23 matches, and only Chelsea have conceded fewer in that same period. Palace are battling well, scrapping for everything and are playing with great pride. Palace have won their last two home games, both by a 1-0 scoreline, including that well-deserved win over Chelsea. However, the Eagles have not managed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 11 league meetings with Manchester City. But that hasn’t spelled out great disaster, because the Eagles have only lost two of their last 11 at Selhurst Park in the league against the Citizens.

You don’t expect the Eagles to run up big goals, as they have claimed 27 points from just 16 goals in the calendar year. Jason Puncheon has been in great form and is trading at a price of 4/1 in the anytime goalscorer market. You can expect them to put up a great battle here and not give the Citizens an easy afternoon. Going over 2.5 goals, because Palace are playing brave football at the moment will return a shot of 4/6. Man City’s last visit to Selhurst Park in the Premier League resulted in a 2-1 win for the visitors back in 2004. It was a single goal from Edin Dzeko at the Etihad which gave Manuel Pellegrini’s men three points against the Eagles earlier in the season. Palace ruined Chelsea’s title dreams. Can they do the same to the Citizens?

Man City will be hoping for a win here and for Chelsea to beat Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday. That will keep them in the title picture. But having won only two of their last 11 trips to Place, it is no certainty. City have been stuttering a bit on the road, having taken just eight points from their last five road games. That was after picking up twelve from the previous four. They have scored freely in the capital, as their last six visits to London have produced 25 goals. Top options in the anytime goalscorer market are Sergio Aguero at 4/6, with Edin Dzeko and Alvaro Negredo at even money. City’s last road win was their 3-0 victory at Old Trafford on March 25th, a draw at Arsenal and a loss at Liverpool followed that. There’s a visit to Goodison after this one for the Citizens so need to get back on track.

Prediction
Even though Palace are going so well at the moment and deserving of their place in the top flight next season, they have had troubles keeping City off the scoresheet. Palace have only won their last two home matches 1-0, so would expect City to threaten that with more goals and would back an away win.
