The new season of the X Factor is two shows old only but already there has been plenty of jostling for position in the betting market. Well, despite the season being in its infancy, a strong contender has already run to the head of the outright winner market and that is Grace Davies who is now 9/2 at Ladbrokes to take the title this season. The 20-year-old from Blackburn, took a risk and performed one of her own songs to leave the judges in awe.
That was some performance because despite some other good strong performances having been put forth by contenders, none of them have been able to get close to Davies in the betting market. For example, Rak-Su are second favourites at 10/1 and the four piece band impressed early on with an original song as well, but still, that leaves them a long way back of Davis. 15 year Holly Tandy is in the same boat too.
The youngster performed a rendition of Alicia Keys’ ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ and as strong as that was, she is at 12/1 in the outright winner market with Shanaya Atkinson-Jones at 14/1 while Anthony Russell is at 16/1 as some of the other string starters. Jack and Joel are a 16/1 shot as well, the YouTubers came out with a megamix performance of Ed Sheeran songs. It certainly got a great reaction from the crowds.
