Denmark News and Form – Can Denmark get their first win?

Denmark have now drawn their last four games in a row. That is after their 1-1 tie against Ireland in the Euro 2020 qualifiers on Friday. There was also a 3-3 draw against Switzerland in that sequence, which was their first qualifier. Denmark had remarkably managed to get a point out of that game after being 3-0 down against the Swiss with ten minutes to go. Denmark looked as if they were going to collect all points against Ireland on Friday before conceding in the final five minutes.

Denmark are undefeated in their last eight games now but have won only three of those. The Danes have scored in five of their last six, so they have been doing well. Their defence has picked up a clean sheet in four of their last five, but they have not taken one in any of their last three. Back in their Nations League campaign they had topped their group over Wales and Ireland with a W2 D2 record and bin either home game.

Georgia News and Form – Can Georgia get underdog success?

Heading into their home game against Gibraltar on Friday, Georgia were on a two-match losing streak. They snapped that with a 3-0 win. So that leaves them at W1 L2 in their three Euro 2020 qualification matches so far. In their last nine games, their form isn’t all that bad at all, having won six of them (D2 L1). A big chunk of that positive form was in the Nations League when they topped their group. But their momentum crashed with back to back defeats against Switzerland and Ireland at the start of this qualification campaign.

Georgia failed to score in either of those losses. If they could collect a victory in this fixture it would push themselves up to second place in the table. That would not only strengthen their own qualification chances but really do some damage to Denmark’s. Or will they just be more concerned about not losing on the road? Their 1-0 loss in Ireland saw them have a three-match undefeated streak of away from snapped. Georgia have scored in all but two of their last nine games played.

Denmark v Georgia Predictions

Denmark to win: There is a good chance for Denmark to get that opening win of the qualifiers on the board. This should be a winnable match for them and getting the success with a clean sheet on the board too, should happen for them.
