Coventry City vs. Stoke City: EFL Betting Tip

Mark Robins’ Coventry City and Michael O’Neill’s Stoke City go head-to-head at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Tuesday evening. Both teams have Premier League ambitions, but who can take all three points from this huge midweek matchup?

Coventry started the season like a house on fire, but the Sky Blues have certainly struggled on their own patch in recent weeks. Since thumping Fulham 4-1 back in early October, the Sky Blues have secured just one home victory.

Our betting prediction:
Matt Godden to score first
11/2

Stoke have been in poor league form lately. Since drawing 0-0 at home with Middlesbrough in mid-December, the Potters have picked up just three points from 12 on the table. Last time out, O’Neill’s boys were beaten 3-2 at home by leaders Fulham.

Both sides have slipped away from the play-offs in recent weeks, so the pair will be looking for all three points here. However, we can see the duo playing out a draw at the Coventry Building Society Arena. The draw and both teams to score is nicely priced at 10/3.

Nottingham Forest vs. Barnsley: Best Football League Betting Predictions

Play-off chasing Nottingham Forest welcome bottom side Barnsley to the City Ground in Championship action on Tuesday. Fresh from their derby success last time out, Steve Cooper’s boys will be looking for no less than three points from this one.

Cooper has made Forest extremely hard to beat since his arrival, with the Reds suffering just three defeats since September. Forest have won three league and cup games in a row, seeing off East Midlands rivals Derby County last time out.

Barnsley are in dire straits right now, sitting rock bottom of the league table after taking a messily 14 points from 25 Championship games. The Tykes have won just two league matches all season, losing 15 and drawing eight of the other 23.

Nottingham Forest have shot up the table under Cooper and are now genuine promotion contenders. They should make like work of sorry Barnsley on Tuesday, and we like the look of the hosts to be winning at half time and full time at 31/20.

Nottingham Forest 16/25

Barnsley 24/5

Queens Park Rangers vs. Swansea City: EFL Betting Odds & Predictions

The standout game from the midweek action in the Championship is Tuesday’s fixture at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium between QPR and Swansea. Rangers will be hoping to strengthen their top-six hopes with three points against the Welsh outfit.

Mark Warburton is working wonders in west London, and the Hoops will fancy their chances of breaking into the top two. After a 1-0 loss to Bournemouth at the end of December, QPR have bounced back with five consecutive league and cup wins.

Swansea have struggled lately, winning just two of their last nine in all competitions. They had lost three and drew one of four in the league before last weekend’s much-needed 1-0 home success over Preston. Still, the Swans languish in 17th on just 31 points.

Russell Martin’s men will no doubt play their part at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium on Tuesday, but we fancy Rangers to nick the points. Back the hosts to win by one goal at 11/4.

Swansea City 5/2

West Bromwich Albion vs. Preston North End: Best EFL Championship Betting Tips

The only Championship game on Wednesday promises to be an entertaining one, as Valerien Ismael’s West Brom welcome Ryan Lowe’s Preston to The Hawthorns. The Baggies will want to build on last weekend’s easy win over Peterborough United.

After no wins in five in all competitions, the comfortable victory over Posh was just what the doctor ordered for the Albion faithful. West Brom sit fifth in the table right now, winning 12, drawing nine and losing six of their 27 matches.

Lowe suffered his first league loss as Preston manager last time out, as his side were narrowly beaten by Swansea in South Wales. The Lilywhites are now without a win in four in all competitions, losing two and drawing two.

West Brom have not been at their best in recent weeks, but we fancy Ismael’s troops to secure another routine home victory on Wednesday. There is good value in 11/8 for the hosts to win this one to nil.

West Bromwich Albion 3/5

Preston North End 24/5
