Stoke City vs. West Bromwich Albion: EFL Betting Tip

Stoke entertain West Brom on Friday in what promises to be a captivating Championship clash at the bet365 Stadium. The Potters have made a decent start and occupy fifth, while the Baggies are sitting pretty at the top of the second-tier table.

Stoke have made a promising start, with Michael O’Neill’s men winning half of their ten Championship games up until now. Including cup matches, City have won eight, drawn three and lost two of 13. Can Stoke hit back with three points after drawing 1-1 at Preston North End on Tuesday night?

West Brom bulldozed their way to the top of the Championship table with an empathic 4-0 win over Cardiff in Wales in midweek. They stayed at the summit after Bournemouth failed to beat Peterborough United on Wednesday. The Baggies are unbeaten so far, winning six and drawing four.

Stoke have been incredibly solid at home this season, picking up six wins and a draw from seven in all competitions at the bet365. Still, West Brom are bouncing, and we fancy the visitors to snatch the points on Friday. The away victory is available at 13/10.

Coventry City vs. Fulham: Best Football League Betting Predictions

Coventry and Fulham meet at the Coventry Building Society Arena in Saturday’s early kick off in the Championship. Both teams have made good starts, with the Cottagers currently a point and a place ahead in the Championship table. Who will win this fascinating fixture in the Midlands?

Coventry’s four-game unbeaten run came to an abrupt end on Wednesday as they were thumped 5-0 at Luton Town. Nevertheless, City have a 100% winning record on their own patch in the league this season, securing wins over Nottingham Forest, Reading, Middlesbrough, Cardiff and Peterborough.

After suffering a shock 2-1 home defeat to Reading and then only managing a 1-1 draw away at Bristol City, Fulham finally got back to winning ways last time out. The prolific Aleksandar Mitrovic was the hero, netting a hat-trick in a 3-1 home victory over Swansea City.

Fulham are back on track after the midweek win, and we fancy Marco Silva’s side to follow that up with another victory at the weekend. Take a look at the solid odds of 10/3 for the Fulham win and both teams to score.

Bournemouth vs. Sheffield United: EFL Betting Odds & Predictions

High-flying Bournemouth welcome improving Sheffield United to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday. The Cherries are joint top, only second on goal difference. After drawing a blank in Peterborough in their last outing, Scott Parker’s boys will be looking for maximum points from this one.

Bournemouth had won four on the spin before Wednesday’s goalless draw at the Weston Homes Stadium. They are one of just two teams left with an unbeaten record in this season’s Championship, and the Dorset outfit would love to be top of the table going into the break.

Sheffield United have improved drastically in recent weeks. They may have fallen to a midweek defeat in Middlesbrough, but Slavisa Jokanovic’s boys make the trip to the Vitality Stadium having won three of their past five in the Championship.

The Blades will no doubt give the Cherries a good game this weekend, but we fancy Parker’s men to stretch their unbeaten run with another three points. There is good value in the Bournemouth win and over 2.5 goals at 9/4.

Bournemouth 49/50

Sheffield United 29/10

Cardiff City vs. Reading: Best EFL Betting Tips on Matchday 11

The pressure is starting to build on Mick McCarthy after a horrible two weeks for Cardiff. The Bluebirds have shipped nine goals in their last two and have lost four in a row. City will be desperate for the points when Reading visit the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Cardiff started their season in decent fashion, winning three and drawing two of their opening five league and cup fixtures. However, they been in miserable form since then, losing six of their following seven in all competitions. In the past week, Cardiff have lost 5-1 at Blackburn Rovers and 4-0 at home to West Brom.

Reading recently picked up three much-needed wins on the spin, seeing off Peterborough, Fulham and Middlesbrough. However, they were stopped in their tracks in midweek, losing 1-0 to Derby County at Pride Park. Overall, the Royals have won four, lost five and drawn one.

This is probably a must-win game for McCarthy, who had been doing so well in Wales since his arrival in January. Reading will be hoping to make the most of City’s woeful form, but we can see Cardiff nicking the points on home soil. You can get the solid price of 11/4 for the hosts to win by one goal.
