Swansea City vs. Norwich City: EFL Betting Tip

On Friday night, Swansea and Norwich square off in a mouth-watering matchup at the Liberty Stadium. The Swans will close the gap to just two points with a win, but the Canaries are the slight favourites in South Wales.

Swansea are in stunning form, picking up seven wins and two draws from their last nine in all competitions. In the Championship, Cooper’s Swans have suffered just one defeat in 11, winning seven of those. City are only five points off top spot.

Norwich have won 16 of their 27 Championship games and look destined to make an instant return to the Premier League. The Canaries head to Wales in exceptional form, winning eight, drawing three and losing only one of their previous 12 in the Championship.

With both teams in fine fettle, Friday night’s showdown at the Liberty promises to be a cracker. We are having a hard time picking a winner, so check out the tempting odds of 10/3 for the draw and both teams to score.

Coventry City vs. Watford: Best Football League Betting Predictions

On Saturday afternoon, Coventry City and Watford meet at St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium. The Sky Blues have been tough to beat in Birmingham, while the Hornets have picked up just three away wins all season. However, the visitors are the favourites in this one.

Mark Robins’ men have grown into life in the Championship, losing just four of their past 16. However, City have picked up only two league wins from their previous nine league affairs. Still, Coventry will fancy their chances of causing an upset at St Andrew’s on Saturday.

Xisco Munoz has made a solid enough start to life at Vicarage Road, guiding Watford to wins over Norwich, Huddersfield Town, Barnsley and Stoke City. However, last Monday, the Hornets were beaten at home by Mark Warburton’s Queens Park Rangers.

Watford will be desperate to bounce back with a win on Saturday. The Hertfordshire club edged a five-goal thriller when these two met at Vicarage Road back in November, and we foresee a similar outcome on Saturday. Back the Watford win and over 3.5 goals at 11/2.

Bristol City vs. Cardiff City: EFL Betting Odds & Predictions

Rivals Bristol City and Cardiff lock horns at Ashton Gate in a Severnside derby on Saturday. The Robins nicked a 1-0 win at the Cardiff City Stadium back in November, but the Bluebirds are fancied to get revenge this weekend.

Dean Holden’s men have been in poor form of late, with seven of their last ten Championship matches ending in defeat. However, they have won four league and cup matches in a row at Ashton Gate.

Mick McCarthy has started life at Cardiff with draws with Barnsley and Millwall. The Bluebirds are also in retched form, losing six and drawing two of their last eight across all competitions. The Welsh side have not won since beating Birmingham City 3-2 in South Wales on December 16th.

Both sides will be desperate for all three points this weekend. This is usually a tight and tense fixture, and we expect nothing less on Saturday. Therefore, check out the tasty odds of 3/1 for Cardiff to win by one goal.

Middlesbrough vs. Brentford: Best EFL Betting Tips on Matchday 28

Thomas Frank takes his in-form Brentford side to the Riverside Stadium this Saturday to face Neil Warnock’s Middlesbrough. The Bees will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to 19 Championship games. As expected, Brentford are the clear favourites.

Middlesbrough are just outside the top six at present, two points behind Bournemouth, who occupy the final play-off spot. Boro are in patchy form of late, however, losing four of their last seven in the Championship. Middlesbrough have lost three on the trot at home without scoring.

Brentford have won 11 and drawn eight of their past 19 Championship matches. After the midweek win over Bristol City, the London side fired themselves into the automatic spots. Brentford are now just four points behind leaders Norwich with a game in hand.

The Bees are unbeaten in eight Championship away encounters, winning five and drawing three. Frank’s men should secure another three points on the road this Saturday. Back the away team to win -1 at 4/1.
