EFL Championship Matchday 32: Best Betting Football Tips

Huddersfield Town vs. Sheffield United: EFL Betting Tip

The Championship action this weekend gets up and running with a tasty all-Yorkshire affair between Huddersfield and Sheffield United at the John Smith’s Stadium. With both teams in excellent form, this promises to be an entertaining Championship encounter.

Huddersfield head into this one unbeaten in 11 Championship games. In fact, they have not lost in 13 league and cup matches, winning seven and drawing six. The Terriers have taken many people by surprise this season, with Carlos Corberan’s men sitting pretty in fifth with 49 points to their name.

Our betting prediction:
Billy Sharp to score first
5/1

(odds taken 1010 GMT, Friday 11 February)

Sheffield United have won eight of their last ten in the Championship to fire their way into promotion contention. Since Paul Heckingbottom took over at Bramall Lane, the Blades have picked up seven league wins. They are just a point away from sixth.

Both sides are in fine fettle, so this is a not an easy fixture to call. Having said that, we fancy Sheffield United to edge it. There is good value in 14/5 for United to win by one goal.

Huddersfield Town 9/4

Blackpool vs. Bournemouth: Best Football League Betting Predictions

Scott Parker takes his Bournemouth boys to Bloomfield Road to face Blackpool in the Championship this weekend. The Cherries will be looking for a third straight league win, though the Seasiders are unbeaten in five Championship matches.

Blackpool are having a superb first season back in the Championship after winning the EFL League One play-offs last term. Ahead of this round of matches, Pool are just five points away from sixth position. Neil Critchley’s men are undefeated in five in the league, winning three and drawing two.

After two losses, Bournemouth have got back on track with back-to-back league wins over Barnsley and Birmingham City. Sandwiched in between, however, was a 1-0 FA Cup home loss to National League side Boreham Wood.

Bloomfield Road is a tough place to visit, as Blackpool have won four of their previous five home fixtures. However, we are backing Parker’s boys to pick up a precious three points in Lancashire. The visitors are priced at 27/25.

Blackpool 14/5

Hull City vs. Fulham: EFL Betting Odds & Predictions

Championship leaders Fulham are on the road this weekend, as Marco Silva takes his men to the MKM Stadium to face Hull. The Tigers have lost two of three under new boss Shota Arveladze, and the Cottagers are the clear favourites in this one.

Hull won two on the spin in what turned out to be Grant McCann’s last games in charge. Arveladze came in and guided the Tigers to a 2-0 win over Swansea. However, Hull have suffered successive losses to Preston North End and Derby County since.

Since the turn of the year, Fulham have turned it up a gear. The Londoners head to Hull having won five and drawn one of their past six Championship games. Only Premier League champions and current leaders Manchester City have beaten Silva’s side in 2022.

Fulham will be looking for another comfortable victory as they look to close in on promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking. You can get the solid odds of 8/5 for the Cottagers to be winning at half time and full time at the MKM Stadium.

Hull City 23/5

Fulham 4/6

Swansea City vs. Bristol City: Best EFL Championship Betting Tips on Matchday 32

At the Swansea.com Stadium on Sunday, Swansea entertain Bristol City. Neither side are in particularly good form, though the Swans are the bookies’ favourites at evens.

Russell Martin has had a tough time in South Wales so far, and the Swans head into this one having suffered seven defeats from their last 11 league and cup fixtures. Last time out, they crashed to a poor 3-0 loss to Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.

Bristol City have blown hot and cold this season. After collecting a single point from three games, Nigel Pearson’s men secured a much-needed three points last time out, seeing off lowly Reading at Ashton Gate. The Robins have been woeful on the road in recent months, however, drawing two and losing seven of nine.

Swansea will be looking to capitalise on Bristol City’s horrendous away form. It could be tight, but we fancy the Welsh team to steal the points on home soil. Put some money on the Swansea win and both teams to score at 3/1.
