EFL Championship Matchday 35: Best Betting Football Tips

Blackburn Rovers vs. Queens Park Rangers: EFL Betting Tip

The Championship weekend gets underway with a cracker on Saturday afternoon as promotion chasers Blackburn and QPR meet at Ewood Park. Both sides have had their issues of late, but the pair are sitting pretty in the top six as we enter the business end of the season.

Blackburn recently went on a run of 11 wins from 15 league matches, but Rovers are without a victory in five. They have struggled in recent weeks, losing three and drawing two since beating Middlesbrough at Ewood Park. Still, if results go their way this weekend, Tony Mowbray’s boys could move back up to third.

Our betting prediction:
Both teams to score
5/6

QPR ended their four-game winless streak with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Blackpool on Wednesday. Luke Amos scored in the 89th minute for ten-man Rangers to secure a vital three points at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

Both sides will be gunning for maximum points from this crunch match, but we fancy the duo to cancel each other out at Ewood Park. There is good value in the draw and both teams to score at 15/4.

Blackburn Rovers 59/50

Queens Park Rangers 49/20

Bournemouth vs. Stoke City: Best Football League Betting Predictions

Scott Parker’s Bournemouth and Michael O’Neill’s Stoke do battle at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday. After their last two games have been called off due to weather concerns, the Cherries will be chomping at the bit to get back to action.

The chasing pack have closed the gap on Bournemouth, but the Dorset boys now have games in hand on their promotion rivals. No matter what happens elsewhere, three points on Saturday will keep the Cherries in second place. Parker’s troops are in fine form, winning five of the last seven in the league.

Stoke are one of the most unpredictable teams in the second tier. Not so long ago, they were in the mix for promotion, but the Potters have slipped down to 14th having won just three league games since November. Last time out, City lost at home to Luton Town.

Bournemouth will be looking to return to action with a comfortable home triumph this weekend. We like the look of 13/8 for the hosts to be winning at half time and full time.

Bournemouth 7/10

Stoke City 4/1

Cardiff City vs. Fulham: EFL Betting Odds & Predictions

Cardiff welcome leaders Fulham to South Wales in the Championship this Saturday. The Bluebirds have put a good run together at the Cardiff City Stadium lately, but the Cottagers are the clear favourites to get the win in the Welsh capital.

For most of the season, Cardiff had the worst home record in the division. However, they have really turned a corner in recent weeks, collecting ten points from the last 12 on offer on home turf. Since Steve Morison inherited the managerial reigns, the Bluebirds have improved drastically on the pitch.

Fulham bounced back from last weekend’s disappointment with a home victory over struggling Peterborough United. With Bournemouth not playing, the Cottagers opened a nine-point gap at the top of the league. They will be looking for another victory this weekend.

Cardiff have turned themselves into a tough nut to crack on their own patch, but Fulham should edge an entertaining affair in South Wales. You can get the tempting price of 12/5 for the away win and both teams to score.

Cardiff City 19/5
Draw 14/5
Fulham 7/10

West Bromwich Albion vs. Swansea City: Best EFL Betting Tips on Matchday 35

On Monday night at The Hawthorns, Steve Bruce’s West Brom and Russell Martin’s Swansea square off. Bruce is still looking for his first win since taking over the Baggies, but the home team are the odds-on favourites in this one.

West Brom have been in abysmal form in recent months, winning just one of their past 11 Championship games. Since beating Peterborough in late January, Albion have drawn one and lost five of six.

Martin has had a tough first season in South Wales after leaving MK Dons last summer. City have picked up just three league victories since November and have taken only two points from their previous six away matches.

Both teams are in bad form at present, but home advantage could swing this one in West Brom’s favour. Bruce’s boys are available at 49/20 to win by one goal.

West Bromwich Albion 3/4

Swansea City 19/5
