England 11/2 second-favourites to win Euro 2020

England odds cut after impressive start to qualification

It was some international break for England. They kicked off their Euro 2020 qualification campaign with a 5-0 win over the Czech Republic and then a 5-1 win out in Montenegro. It was a blistering start to the campaign by Gareth Southgate’s men and the future of England looks good.

Thrown in to action were youngsters Declan Rice and Callum Hudson-Odoi and the youthful England setup looks as if it is heading in a very promising direction. After their semi final place at the 2018 World Cup and their Nations League group win ahead of Spain, there is a good platform to build on.

There is plenty of optimism as well and given their start to Euro 2020 qualification, it looks pretty likely that the Three Lions will be taking part in next summer’s tournament. Once they are they, they are going to be one of the leading contenders as well if they can keep this kind of form up for the next year or so.

After their performances in the recent international break, Ladbrokes have priced England up as the second favourites at 11/2 to win Euro 2020* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes on March 27th, 2019 at 3:05 pm). The only team shorter than them in the odds is the current World Champions France.
