England Euro 2020/21 Squad – Who is in?

Southgate will be pretty sure of his main team of players for Euro 2020. The England manager is set to name his 26-man squad on Tuesday, 25th May, a full week before the deadline. There will be three goalkeepers at the tournament, but the No. 1 spot is still up for grabs.

Skipper Harry Kane will be the first name on the list. His future club career may need sorting, but the current Tottenham Hotspur man is sure to be as deadly as ever in an England shirt this summer. Kane will be looking to follow up his 2018 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot by finishing top scorer at Euro 2020/21.

Our betting prediction:
Harry Kane top goalscorer
5/1

Mason Mount has had a stunning season with Chelsea and will surely be another name first on the list. West Ham United’s Declan Rice could join his friend in England’s starting lineup this summer. Harry Maguire, Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell – among a few others – will also be in the squad.

Our betting prediction:
England to reach the semi-finals
6/4

Euro 2020 England Squad Preview: Any surprises?

Sam Johnstone had an excellent season between the sticks for relegated West Bromwich Albion. The 28-year-old could get a call up, though taking the No. 1 jersey this summer might be a step too far for the Preston-born stopper.

Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold was left out of the latest England squad due to some below par performances in a Reds shirt at the time. However, the right-back had an excellent end to his Premier League season, helping Liverpool to a place in the top four.

James Maddison was an Emirates FA Cup winner with Leicester City, while the Foxes earned a place in next season’s UEFA Europa League. Injury and off-field issues have halted his progress, but Maddison would certainly be a wildcard if selected. With so much talent in the middle of the pitch, the 24-year-old could miss out, though.

Three Lions Group D Preview: England face old rivals Scotland at Wembley

England go up against Croatia, Scotland and Czech Republic in Group D. First up, the English and Croatians meet at Wembley Stadium in a repeat of the 2018 World Cup semi-final, which Croatia edged on Russian soil. Can they get revenge three years on?

England’s second group game is one of the standout fixtures of the early stages of the tournament. Old rivals Scotland wait at Wembley on 18th June. The third and final group match will see the Three Lions take on the unpredictable Czechs at Wembley.

England Euro Betting Specials: Nine points out of nine in Group D?

There will be so much to bet on in this summer’s tournament. Will England go through as group winners (1/3)? Will the Three Lions reach the last four (6/4)? Can Harry Kane win the Golden Boot (5/1)?

Paddy Power have some England betting specials to look out for. Southgate’s side are the bookies’ favourites to win Group D and secure their spot in the last 16 in style, but how many points will the English collect? Paddy Power are offering the generous odds of 13/8 for England to secure nine from a possible nine.

On his way to the Golden Boot at the 2018 World Cup, Kane alone helped himself to six goals, including a hat-trick in the group stage. With the likes of Kane, Mount and Phil Foden firing on all cylinders for their clubs this term, England could be one of the top scorers at this summer’s Euros. With that in mind, take a punt on the English to score over 10.5 goals in the tournament at 5/4.
