England v Czech Republic Preview

England are long odds-on favourites to win this qualification group. After their run to the semifinals of the World Cup 2018, they then managed to top their Nations League group over Croatia and Spain. So it’s a good wave of positivity that the Three Lions are riding at the moment. The Three Lions are integrating more youth into their squad with the call ups for Declan Rice and Callum Hudson-Odoi. England are undefeated in their last five games, winning four of those.

They have scored at least two goals in each of their last three played as well. England have taken a clean sheet in three of their last five played. At home in their most recent competitive action of the Nations League, England lost 2-1 against Spain and then beat Croatia by the same scoreline. Against Croatia, the Three Lions came from behind with goals from Jesse Lingard and Harry Kane in the last 12 minutes. England have lost one of their last 18 home internationals. They also completed qualification campaigns for Euro 2016 and the World Cup 2018 with perfect home records.
