England vs Montenegro Betting Tips – UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifier, 14th November 19.45pm

Gareth Southgate’s England will be looking to book their place in the UEFA Euro 2020 finals with ease with a comfortable victory over Montenegro at Wembley Stadium on Thursday night. The Three Lions, who are three points clear at the top of qualifying Group A, are the overwhelming favourites to get the job done in this one. However, with Faruk Hadzibegic’s men already eliminated, the Brave Falcons will have nothing to fear at Wembley.

England News and Form – Three Lions to cruise into the finals with a routine win

Despite a blemish in the Czech Republic in October, England have hardly put a foot wrong in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying. That defeat in Prague was the Three Lions’ first qualifying loss for a decade.

England have seen off all of their opponents at least once to sit pretty at the top of Group A with two matches left. Gareth Southgate’s boys have won five of six qualifying fixtures, scoring a staggering 26 goals to boot. Only Belgium and Russia, who are both in Group I, have netter more up until now.

After a shock 2-1 defeat to Czech Republic in Prague last month, England hit back with an emphatic 6-0 win in Bulgaria. The game was marred by racist chanting by a handful of Bulgarian fans, but the Three Lions got on with their job admirably in Sofia, with Ross Barkley (2), Raheem Sterling (2), Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane scoring in the big victory.

England are the strong favourites in this one, and they should be far too good for Montenegro in the capital. It could be a case of how many Southgate’s Three Lions win by on Thursday evening.

Key-Facts – England vs Montenegro

  • Montenegro have yet to win in Group A, drawing three and losing four
  • England have scored 26 goals, while Montenegro have netted just three

Montenegro News and Form – Another heavy defeat for the Brave Falcons?

Montenegro have had another disappointing European Championship qualifying campaign. The Brave Falcons have failed to win any of their seven group matches, drawing three and losing four. Along the way, they have scored just three times and conceded a whopping 15.

In the two October fixtures, Montenegro picked up one point from games against Bulgaria and Kosovo. After drawing 0-0 with the Bulgarians in Podgorica, Faruk Hadzibegic’s troops were beaten 2-0 by the Kosovans at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium in Pristina last time out.

The English ran riot when the two teams met in the City Stadium of Podgorica back in March, and we could be in for a similar scoreline on Thursday.

England vs Montenegro Predictions

England win: The Three Lions are incredibly hard to beat at Wembley, and they head into this one as the huge favourites with the bookies. The English responded expertly well from their shock loss in Prague by thumping Bulgaria, and they should secure another big win here. Have a punt on England to win by four goals or more at 6/4.

Southgate’s men have scored 26 times, but the six goals conceded at the other end will annoy the English boss. Nonetheless, England kept a clean sheet in their big 6-0 win in Bulgaria last time out, and I fancy the hosts to win to nil (1/2) again on Thursday.
