This is a Group 1 fixture for the day from the famous Surrey venue. There are 7 declared runners for this year’s contest.

Lining up as the current favourite in Coronation Cup racing odds is AL AASY. But this race features other strong contenders like JAPAN and MOGUL.

It’s going to be a fascinating look at Coronation Cup racing odds.

Al Aasy the 6/5 FAV in Coronation Cup Racing Odds

There has certainly been some strong form by Willie Haggas’ AL AASY this season.

He is the current 6/5 favourite in Coronation Cup racing odds* (odds recorded at 23:12 GMT on June 3rd, 2021 at Coral).

There have been back to back wins for him in this campaign, both Group 3 successes happening at Newbury.

They were victories that Al Aasy took impressively as well. So he looks like the one to beat in this contest.

That has been four wins in his last five runs now and Al Aasy still looks to have plenty more in the tank as well.

Last month at the Al Rayyan Stakes, Al Aasy blew apart the challenges of Dante winner Thunderous and St Leger winner Logician like they weren’t in the same class.

That was some form, although arguably those rivals weren’t at their best. Will Al Aasy improve once again to secure that hattrick?

Can Japan push forward?

JAPAN is one of the biggest names in middle-distance flat racing. That’s because he was superb as a 3-year-old and looked set for major things.

But life as a 4-year-old didn’t go to plan.

He really he had only a couple of decent efforts in the last campaign. That was a third-place finish here in the Derby and one in the Eclipse.

Trainer Aidan O’Brien will have renewed heart after seeing Japan score at Chester a month ago on his return to action.

Japan is an immensely talented horse but needs to get some of that early-career momentum back.

He can’t totally be ruled out even though the distance is a little bit of a question mark for him.

Japan is a quote of 11/4 to score at Epsom in Coronation Cup racing odds* (odds recorded at 23:12 GMT on June 3rd, 2021 at Coral).

Mogul command respect for Epsom

As he is coming back to his optimum trip, MOGUL commands some respect for this contest at 5/1* (odds recorded at 23:12 GMT on June 3rd, 2021 at Coral).

He was last seen in France in the Group 1 Prix Ganay in which he finished third. It wasn’t a bad effort, but it was always going to be a struggle at 1m 2f.

This is better and he looked as if he needed that competitive action under his belt, so he’s entitled to come forward for it.

As a 3-year-old, Mogul claimed a couple of Group 1 fixtures at Longines and Sha Tin, so is more than capable.

He sits as a chief threat in this race alongside his stablemate and brother Japan.

Can Pyledriver mount a challenge?

There was excellent progress made by PYLEDRIVER as a 3-year-old. He is a quote of 8/1 to win on Friday* (odds recorded at 23:12 GMT on June 3rd, 2021 at Coral).

He has had a reappearance run under his belt, a second-place finish at Newmarket, which will have proven to be a satisfactory effort for his connections.

Pyledriver has delivered in high-quality contests. He won the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot and in the Great Voltigeur at York.

Place claims for Pyldriver are not to be totally discounted for Friday.

Albaflora will need to find more

It will be fascinating to see how deep ALBAFLORA gets into the Coronation Cup on Friday as it may be a little quick for her.

She came on well last season as a 3-year-old and showed further promise on her reappearance run for this campaign.

Albaflora took a win at Ascot on some soft ground, as she bolted up to crush Tribal Craft by a margin of seven lengths.

She has been successful at the 1m 4f distance, but not on the firmer ground and she may relish more of a slog in testing conditions than this.

Albalfora is an 11/1 quote* (odds recorded at 23:12 GMT on June 3rd, 2021 at Coral).

Highland Chief has a lot to do

There is a clear outsider in Coronation Cup racing odds. That’s HIGHLAND CHIEF as he looks to battle some top-quality opposition.

Highland Chief did score at Royal Ascot last season as he managed to defy top weight. There were also place finishes in the Group 2 effort at Goodwood and York.

He was beaten by Mogul and Pyledriver respectively in those Group 3s. The tongue strap goes on for the first time for what is his reappearance.

He looks as if he has a lot to do from 50/1 against some form players* (odds recorded at 23:12 GMT on June 3rd, 2021 at Coral).

Predictions & Tips for Epsom Coronation Cup Racing Odds

Our tip is coming straight from the top in AL AASY who looks to be a class act all of the way. He’s beaten top opposition recently and could be set for more.

The distance is a slight doubt, but he’s bang in form and has taken his form to a new level in his two starts this season.

Al Aasy is the one to beat from 6/5* (odds recorded at 23:12 GMT on June 3rd, 2021 at Coral).

We think that MOGUL has a bigger shot at this than stablemate JAPAN. Mogul has needed both runs this season to get up to speed.

The former should be match fit now and returns to a distance that is going to put him in the picture at 5/1* (odds recorded at 23:12 GMT on June 3rd, 2021 at Coral).
