Manchester United v AC Milan Preview

This is, quite clearly, the tie of the round in Europa League betting.

It should be a cracker as the Red Devils play host to seven-time Champions League winners AC Milan.

With home advantage coming in the first leg, Manchester United are 13/20 odds-on to claim the win at Old Trafford* (betting odds record at 04:23 GMT on Sunday, 28th February 2021).

United coasted through the last round, taking a 4-0 aggregate win over Spanish side Real Sociedad.

AC Milan have been in good shape this season in Serie A, but have lost their way with recent form.

As long as they have Zlatan Ibrahimovic knocking around causing problems they will have their moments.

But there really appears to be nothing for Manchester United to fear in the Italians.

Dinamo Zagreb v Tottenham

Tottenham are out on the road for the first leg of their round of sixteen tie. That doesn’t stop them from being strong favourites.

Tottenham are currently 3/5 odds-on to win the first leg of this duel* (betting odds record at 04:23 GMT on Sunday, 28th February 2021).

The Lilywhites breezed past Austrian side Wolfsberger in the last round, scoring an 8-1 aggregate in the tie.

Their opponents, Dinamo Zagreb have lost all but one of their 10 previous matches against English teams in European competition.

So the ball really is in the court of the Premier League side and away goals would set them up very nicely.

Olympiakos v Arsenal

The Gunners will also be out on the road for the first leg of their round of sixteen tie against Greek opponents Olympiakos.

Arsenal came through a fairly tight tussle with Benfica in the round of 32, a second leg 3-2 home win giving the Gunners a 4-3 aggregate success.

It wasn’t the most conniving of jobs done by the North London club, however, but this looks to be a fairly comfortable tie for them.

Arsenal are 10/11 odds-on to come away with a win in the first leg in Europa League betting.

Slavia Prague v Rangers

After a thrilling 9-5 aggregate success over Royal Antwerp to get to the round of sixteen, Rangers will face Slavia Prague next.

They will be hoping to have a calm night on the road for the first leg.

This will be the first-ever meeting between Rangers and Slavia Prague.

In Europa League betting, the away win for Rangers is at 15/8, leaving them as underdogs for the first leg.

Slavia Prague pulled off the shock of the round of 32 as they knocked out Premier League side Leicester at the King Power.
