This year’s Eurovision Song Contest is set for May in Tel Aviv and in it, the UK will be looking for their first win of the 21st Century. Dana International was the last UK act to win it back in 1997. There is early Eurovision Song Contest 2019 betting happening at the moment, even though finalists are a long way from being decided.

The UK are 33/1 currently to win this year’s edition of the singing bonanza. That’s a pretty long way from the outright 4/1 favourites who are Russia* ( betting odds taken from bet365 on February 7th, 2019 at 7:52 pm).

The UK Votes

The current favourite in the Eurovision: You Decide show for Friday night is Michael Rice who is even money favourite to get the nod from the public* ( betting odds taken from bet365 on February 7th, 2019 at 7:52 pm). Rice, from Hartlepool, won the BBC’s All Together Now last year so is in good stead.

Jordan Clarke, who once competed on Britain’s Got Talent with the Luminites, has been taking some stronger backing over this week and is now a 5/1 shot, with some bookies having her in as short as 4/1* ( betting odds taken from bet365 on February 7th, 2019 at 7:52 pm).

Sandwiched in between Rice and Clarke, which sounds like an exploration duo, is Kerri-Anne at 9/4* ( betting odds taken from bet365 on February 7th, 2019 at 7:52 pm). She comes into the fray with an upbeat ditty called Sweet Lies. But the heavy backing from the betting public is going to Rice who has the advantage of having been a familiar face to talent show viewers.
