Some Can Dance heads the field
There has been recent form from Some Can Dance. On his last run he collected a success at Ffos Las in some heavy going last month. That was a chase victory for him over 2m 5f in which he beat Driftwood Haze.
He is a former winner of two hurdles and a chase from 2m 5f up to 3m 1f, so can handle the trip. That was his third win of 2019, only failing to at least place in two of his seven outings for the calendar year.

Broadclyst trading well
Irish challenger Broadclyst put in a good run in his latest has effort. That was at Wincanton in December when from an 8/1 mark he missed out on a victory by a neck. He is a former distance winner (point to point) and he has second place in his last two runs now. So he could easily be trending for the big victory with a favourable weight.
Truckin Away and Breaking Waves
Seven year old Truckin Away was fifth in November on his last chase which was over course and distance. Given that in his previous outing he had pulled up, with a solid enough showing without looking spectacular. That was a fifth from eleven runners at 9/1 odds and he was well beaten in the end.
Breaking Waves will have to come up with some answers after pulling up in his last race. That happening in a 3m at Huntington and his chase debut as well. That is consecutive races for the Noel Williams-trained Breaking Waves in which he has pulled up
He was drifting at 5/1 on Monday evening with Truckin Away in at 7/2* (betting odds taken from Unibet on January 13th, 2020 at 12:36 pm).
Can Cobolobo come good?
It has been a mixed bag of form from French runner Cobolobo who resigned to having pulled up in a Class 3 Chase at Cheltenham in October, by claiming a victory at Haydock Park in early December going off at a higher weight.
Then in a follow up from that, sticking at the distance he failed to make an impact coming 5th of 10 at Newbury. But there were extenuating circumstances there as a faller threw him totally out of his groove.

Predictions
Chobolobo makes for a good outside option here because of his win at Haydock last year where he handled a weight increase very well. Broadclyst though makes the most interesting of claims for this one as he will going with cheek pieces for the first time.
