FA Cup 5th Round Betting Favourite – Man City 2/1

Manchester City had no trouble in passing their test in the 4th Round of this season’s FA Cup.

They had a home game against Championship side Fulham.

The Citizens coasted to a 4-1 win over the Cottagers to land themselves in the next round.

City remains the favourites to land this season’s FA Cup, currently at a quote of 2/1 outright* (odds recorded at 21:29 GMT on February 7th, 2022 at Bet365).

In the Fifth Round Proper, Manchester City will be out on the road as they travel to Championship Peterborough.

Main Contenders FA Cup 5th Round Betting

Chelsea were given a big challenge at Stamford Bridge on the weekend, by League One’s Plymouth.

The visitors had taken the lead at the Bridge and had given the Blues a fantastic run for their money in the first half of the game.

Chelsea managed to turn the tie around in extra time to avoid what would have been a major upset.

The Blues face Championship opposition in the next round, as they have a trip to Luton to look forward to.

Chelsea are 5/1 third-favourites in FA Cup betting odds* (odds recorded at 21:29 GMT on February 7th, 2022 at Bet365).

Liverpool also had a comfortable time in the 4th Round as they took a 3-1 home win over Cardiff City to make it through.

The Reds, who are 7/2 second-favourites in the FA Cup Betting outright market stay at home in an all-Premier League clash with Norwich* (odds recorded at 21:29 GMT on February 7th, 2022 at Bet365).

There is only one other all-Premier League clash set up for the fifth round of this season’s FA Cup.

That will be at St Mary’s where Southampton are due to meet West Ham for a place in the 6th round.

FA Cup 5th Round Outsiders

Boreham Wood are the big outsider in FA Cup betting. They are the lowest-ranked team left in this season’s competition.

The National League side pulled off a big upset on the weekend away from home.

They had visited Championship promotion hopefuls Bournemouth and Boreham Wood battled through to a 1-0 success.

Their reward for that is a day out on Merseyside next, as the 5th-tier side face Everton at Goodison Park.

The 6th round will guarantee at least one team from the Championship in the draw, with Nottingham Forest playing host to Huddersfield in the Fifth Round.
