Back on Sunday from the horse racing action at Fairyhouse, a punter from Meath hit a nice €11,000 win from a Lucky 15. The punter had played a €3 Lucky 15 bet (€45 stake) on the afternoon action.
The bet started off with a win for Chief Justice at 5/1, a narrow win by pretty much a nostril and nothing more. Delta Work at 10/3 followed up and then when a big 16/1 shot Dinnie’s Vinner came home for three wins for three, the bet got really exciting.
There was then an hour’s wait for Wonder Laish to just about hang on and get the win in the 3.10 pm.
The bet landed the punter a nice €10,749 from Boylesports, but a 10% bonus came into effect as the bet had four winners, bringing the total windfall to €11,823.90.
