Their title two years ago did come after they had taken a semi-final place in the 2015 edition. So there was progress there. They scored 33 goals in those ten games, more than any of the other teams who qualified for the Finals. Germany are undefeated in their last seven competitive fixtures, winning six of those.

Denmark U21 News and Form

For third straight edition, Denmark are in the U21 Championship Finals. They collected a group win back in 2015 (which was over Germany) but they then lost in the semifinals. Two years ago Denmark bowed out at the group stage, taking a W1 L2 record from that campaign. So that leaves Denmark with a W4 D2 L6 record in their last twelve group stage games at the tournament.

In reaching these finals, they produced a W7 D2 L1 record from their qualification campaign. They powered their way to the end going unbeaten in their final five. They did find the back of the net in all of their qualification matches played. Robert Skov made quite the impact for them in front of goal, scoring eight goals in qualification, with only Poland’s Dawid Kownacki scoring more than him.

Germany to win: This should be a routine win for Germany as they are, head and shoulders, the better of the two teams. They have immense scoring power in their ranks and given the trend of wins to nil over Denmark, we will roll with that outcome once again.
