From the start or from the bench?
Grealish has to contend with a stacked midfield attacking core, with the likes of Mason Mount and Phil Foden there.
Other attacking options that could get the nod over him include the likes of Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling depending on how Southgate sets up his team.
There could be the train of thought from the England boss that Grealish has the ability to come off the bench and change a game.
