Happy Romance 4/1 FAV in Hackwood Stakes Racing Odds
We have HAPPY ROMANCE as the narrow 4/1 favourite in Hackwood Stakes racing tips* (odds recorded at 19:43 GMT on July 15th, 2022 at Bet365).
She warrants some respect as she has looked for a defence in this race.
Twelve months ago she had the beating of Diligent Harry by a neck.
This is a time of the season that Happy Romance looks forward to. In 2020 she landed the Super Sprint on the day’s card.

Nothing about that effort suited him on the day, on what was his return to Britain.
The 6f trip on Saturday looks a better fit for him and there was a Group 3 victory abroad by Man Of Promise earlier this season.
He has also claimed a place finish in a Group 1 contest. His form in Dubai this season really is the ticket for him.

Rohaan primed and ready
ROHANN brings winning form to the table after getting his nose in front at Royal Ascot last month
That win was a defence in the Wokingham Handicap, and it was a nice return to top form by him.
If there is a follow-up performance in him, then Rohaan should not be far away in this one.
It has in general been a slow season for him, but that was an eye-catching run last time out.

Minzaal in the mix
Another that should be in the mix is MINZAAL who has been lightly raced this season. But he has the ability to get into this.
He was thrown into a Group 1 last autumn at Ascot and took a place finish.
The most recent run for Minzaal was last seen at Royal Ascot a month ago. He was well below his best in the Platinum Jubilee.
Minzaal, who won the 2020 Gimcrack, is an excellent sprinter on his day.

Chil Chil can compete from fresh
A very interesting player in this field for Hackwood Stakes tips is CHIL CHIL who makes a reappearance.
She hasn’t been seen since September last year, but she is a former Group 3 winner.
Chil Chil was a place finisher in the Haydock Sprint Cup last year as well, and there were some excellent efforts by her in 2021.

Others to watch
Last year’s runner-up DILIGENT HARRY is looking for a bounce back after doing no better than a midfield finish at the Platinum Jubilee at Royal Ascot.
There was a good second-place by him in a Listed Doncaster effort before that. With his sight lowered on Saturday, place claims could be there.
RUN TO FREEDOM is well worth a look and on his penultimate landed a warm 6f Listed contest at Windsor. He was down the field in the Platinum Jubilee and piques interest as he’s still unexposed still at this distance.
GREAT AMBASSADOR is another with some reasonable claims. He was simply fantastic last season, collecting three wins and rattling the crossbar in the Ayr Gold Cup. He was last in the Platinum Jubilee on his reappearance but could be a lot sharper for it.
GO BEARS GO took a Group 3 victory at Ascot on his reappearance run for this season, which was back in April. Didn’t quite stay in the Commonwealth Cup last time out, but the younger is capable as proven by a Group 2 win in his juvenile season.
