Who isn’t going to be tuning in for the next round of the F1 season in a couple of weeks? After the testy coming together between Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix the next round of action, which comes from Austria is going to draw even more attention.
The feud was started with Vettel delivering shunting his car into that of Hamilton, as the German got himself all enraged blaming Hamilton for something that the British driver didn’t do. Vettel hit the back of Hamilton’s car coming out of a corner behind the safety car and blamed Hamilton for slowing down, then the German pulled alongside Hamilton and slammed into the side of him deliberately.
Hamilton called Vettel’s actions a “disgrace” and now this has all added some extra spice to the rest of the F1 season. So if Hamilton wants to come out and exact some revenge, and he will be keen to do so because he was disappointed that Vettel only received a ten-second penalty and nothing else for his actions and the best way to get that revenge will be to win the next race.
That would be the prefect from Hamilton, who is 4/5 outright favorite at Ladbrokes to win in Austria as he did last season. Vettel finished fourth in Baku, despite a 10-second penalty for his misdemeanour, one place in front of Hamilton. That final places means that Hamilton fell to 14 points back of Vettel but Hamilton is odds-on at 8/11 with Ladbrokes to secure a fourth world crown.
Vettel 11/10 to land the 2017 title but for now, the focus will be on the fall out between the two of them. What will happen next when it is all eyes on Austria?
