CABALETTA looks to be in good shape to launch a bold run on the weekend at Haydock.

She was last seen in action 16 days ago for her reappearance. In that she claimed a good third place finish in a York Group 2 fixture.

Last season there was a lot of progress made by Cabaletta. She did place in Group company and has a lot more to offer.

Connections have thrown the blinkers on Cabaletta for the first time in order to try and get a little more from her.

Cabaletta probably isn’t going to be far away from putting her third career victory on the baord.

Oriental Mystique a threat to the favourite

There should be a strong challenge from ORIENTAL MYSTIQUE as well from a quote of 9/4* (odds recorded at 21:09 GMT on May 28th, 2021 at Betway).

She made an appearance at Goodwood on this trip and wasn’t disgraced with a place finish in that one.

There was a sign that she looks a lot stronger as a 4 year old. She has a lot to offer and that Goodwood appearance was in a listed race.

Oriental Mystique should be a big player and there’s a lot to like about her.

La Lune not without a chance of a double

There was a victory for LA LUNE on her reappearance a month ago. That was a Nottingham listed event back in April.

One thing in favour of La Lune is that the conditions will suit her at Haydock on Saturday.

That reappearance win should give her connections a lot of hope. Oriental Mystique had been a little flat at the end of the previous campaign.

She was powering along on a big upward curve of form last year. She won three on the spin. That hattrick was completed at Ayr in September.

Salsada was sixth of 13 in a decent effort at Doncaster on a 1m 2f trip on her final run of last season.

It is going to be really interesting to see what she can do on her reappearance.

Wait For The Lord with an outside chance?

WAIT FOR THE LORD enters the frame with some outside place claims. She got off the mark in a Lingfield novice in December.

There has been handicap action from her since then and she hasn’t been discouraged.

Wait For The Lord has produced runs that have offered promise if she can start driving forward a bit.

Making a move back to this level though is likely to be asking a little too much of her right now.

National Treasure with too much to do

Coming in grade, NATIONAL TREASURE is going to have a lot of work on her plate to make an impact on Saturday.

There is promise there and she went well for Charlie Appleby. She has since moved on.

There was a third place finish for her on her reappearance at Beverley as a novice in April.

It wasn’t a terrible run from National Treasure.

This is a good renewal of the Pinnacle Stakes racing odds on Saturday at Haydock.

We have a slight preference for ORIENTAL MYSTIQUE who put in a good run at this distance at Goodwood on her reappearance.
