Hull City News and Form – Can the Tigers strike back with a win?
Grant McCann’s Hull City will be looking for a first win in three. Since picking up successive victories over Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Fulham, the Tigers have taken one point from their last two.
Last Sunday, Hull battled back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Jonathan Woodgate’s Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium. Helped by Marvin Johnson’s red card, two Jarrod Bowen goals in four second-half minutes earned the Tigers a deserved point.
Hull have sealed some impressive wins on the road of late, but they go into this one having lost two of their last three at the KCOM. Meanwhile, City have won only three times on home soil this term, with two of those coming in their last eight. Can they return to winning ways in front of their own supporters in midweek?

- North End have taken four points from the last 12 on offer on the road
Preston North End News and Form – High flying North End to claim an away victory?
Alex Neil’s Preston North End have been one of the surprise packages in the Championship so far this season. At the time of writing, North End sit third behind West Bromwich Albion and Leeds United, taking an impressive 31 points from 17 games. That ratio is certainly promotion form.
No side in the second tier have picked up more home points than Preston thus far, as the Lilywhites have accumulated a staggering 23 points at Deepdale. However, things have not been as rosy away from home, with Preston winning only two of eight. They have drawn two and lost four of the other six.
North End will be hoping to keep the pressure on the top two with a win at the KCOM on Wednesday. However, that will not be an easy task, especially as McCann’s boys have been in good form of late.
Hull City vs Preston North End Tips & Odds
Draw and both teams to score at 10/3
1-1 correct score at 11/2

Hull City vs Preston North End Predictions
Draw: Hull have pulled off some top results in recent weeks, seeing off the likes of Nottingham Forest, Derby and Fulham. However, they were beaten by in-form West Brom in their previous home game.
Preston have been superb under Neil this season, but their form away from home will concern the boss. Still, a point at the KCOM on Wednesday would not be a bad result for the Lilywhites.
I’m backing this to end all square, with the draw and both teams to score available at the tempting price of 10/3. As for the correct score, there’s excellent value in bet365’s 11/2 for the 1-1 draw.
