This is the opening action from Tampa Bay Downs on Saturday and it is a 6f trip on the dirt. There are six entered for the contest which is an Allowance Optional Claiming race.
Race Favourite
The outright favourite for the contest is MY BOY LENNY at 3/5 odds-on* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 22:31 GMT on Friday, 17th April 2020). He should bring big claims as well as he is going to be looking for a hat trick.
His latest trips were in Tampa Bay trips and so brings the course form as well, the first of those scores happening at the 6f distance. So he should find himself in the frame again and is going to be tough to beat.
Tips
Also bringing some winning form to the table is ROL AGAIN QUESTION. The seven-year-old scored at course and distance on his last trip which was in the middle of January. That is back to back wins on the track at the distance for him now and should bring claims at 5/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 22:31 GMT on Friday, 17th April 2020).
Four-year-old DIAMOND DUST could be an interesting contender in the race. This will be his return to action since stepping away in early December. That was after a good score in a field of seven at Mahoning Valley.

There is joint favouritism lining up for this contest as Hey Jabber Jaw and Northern are set to scrap it out from 7/2* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 22:31 GMT on Friday, 17th April 2020).
Hey Jabber Jaw struggled on his last run, taking a seventh-place finish at Tampa Bay in a contest at the end of March. He did open the year with a victory in a Claiming race.
Six-year-old Northern should bring a strong challenge. He has scored in two of his last three trips, both of those happening at Tampa Bay Downs at the 6f distance. It has been a win for him in half of his last six trips now and should be in the frame.
Tips
There is a strong duo at the head of the field for this one, so digging around for value is not the easiest. DADDY’S YANKEE is an exciting four-year-old and is coming along nicely in his form.
He scored a win at Tampa Bay in mid-March and his one run since then saw him claim a third back at course and distance in a bigger field. There are decent enough claims from 6/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 22:31 GMT on Friday, 17th April 2020).
The outsider in the field MULLED WINE may pique each way interest. He could be forgiven for a poor effort over an extended 1 mile at the end of March. He prefers a long trip by having won two of his last five races, both of which were at 7f. On his last 6f trip which was last December, Mulled Wine claimed second of eight.

FLAWLESS MOON at 5/2 is the race favourite* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 22:31 GMT on Friday, 17th April 2020). The youngster was last seen at Gulfstream which was at the end of January.
In that contest, he took a second-place finish. He did break his maiden on his first attempt in September last year and hasn’t been out of the top three in any of his three trips so far.
Tips
BIG SPENDER has been knocking on the door lately having taken three-second place finishes in his last four trips. The most recent of those was at Gulfstream in a field of five in the middle of March.
His last two trips over the distance have yielded a second-place finish and is likely to push for a place finish and is at 7/2* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 22:31 GMT on Friday, 17th April 2020).
From a longer price, we are going to take a look at WAR ACT. The four-year-old struck a very good in at Gulfstream earlier this month in fast going. He has not been out of the top three in any of his last three trips now and is on an upward curve. It will be interesting to see if he can follow up on his recent win with another victory in this company.

There has been no win in five races for Front Loaded since a score at Gulfstream August 2019.
Tips

The relatively unexposed four year old has scored a win and a runner up place in two of his last three trips. He has not been out since early March.

There hasn’t been red hot form from the filly, however, which is true of most of the runners in this race. The last effort by Here Comes Jackie saw her finish fifth at Gulfstream early April. Hasn’t won since Saratoga in September last year.

She has not been outside of the top three in any of her last five runs, all of which have been at the venue. There have been two wins in her last four.
CLASSY LYNN is up there as the joint-favourite in this race. She struck a win at Tampa in late February on the turf, but then struggled over a longer distance on a return a month later. So the drop in trip back down to 1m may see her back in the wheelhouse. Will bring some decent enough claims.
