Georgia suffered a 2-0 loss in a setback against Switzerland in their Euro 2020 qualification opener. That saw them snap a run of good form which they had been on. They are now W5 D1 L1 in their last seven. Georgia won their Nations League group, taking 16 of 18 points. They won all of their away games as well, which was against Latvia, Andorra and Kazakhstan. So that wasn’t the toughest of opposition that they were up against granted, but it was still a good, confident run.
