The last win that KENZAI WARRIOR claimed was here at Kempton. That course and distance win was delivered on his penultimate run.

Back as a 2-year-old Kenzai Warrior did win a Group 3 contest but then lost his way considerably.

But that recent C&D coupled with a credible enough run in the Balmoral at Ascot 39 days ago, gives him a chance.

Pistoletto up in class but not to be dismissed

PISTOLETTO is a very interesting contender in the Hyde Stakes racing odds at 8/1* (odds recorded at 21:09 GMT on November 23rd, 2021 at Coral).

He won three of his last four efforts on the all weather and there was a very strong victory posted by him last time out.

Pistoletto cruised to a win at Lingfield on a 1m trip eleven days ago.

There are going to be quotation marks because of the fact that he is taking a jump up in class in this one. But he is not to be dismissed.

Lady Rockstar is running well

Arriving in a good mood as well is LADY ROCKSTAR who claimed a win at Wolverhampton on an extended mile last month.

She is a quote of 15/2 for Thursday’s horse racing betting * (odds recorded at 21:09 GMT on November 23rd, 2021 at Coral).

That was in a maiden and it confirmed some very good progress made by the filly this season.

The daughter of Frankel has been in the frame in all five runs this season now and is clearly going in the right direction.

With that Wolverhampton success coming by a huge margin of 12 lengths, then there could be something in this for her on her Polytrack debut.

Rest of the runners

CAP FRANCAIS was fourth at Newbury on his latest effort, which was a run for a new yard. That was a 10-runner handicap on a longer trip. He steps on to the Polytrack for the first time on Wednesday and may have a bit to find.

ORBAAN hasn’t won any of his last fourteen appearances, so others do make more appeal. This is a quick turnaround for Orbaan who was fifth of six in a conditions event at Lingfield four days ago.

ANANYA gets the blinkers on for the first time as connections try to get something out of her. She wasn’t in the reckoning at Lingfield a month ago.

CASPIAN QUEEN picked up a 7f handicap success in the summer and took another win in August on the turf. The last two runs haven’t seen her to the best effect and she’s searching for a revival right now.

MADAME TANTZY looks to be just a little short at this level. There was a course and distance win for her in 2019. She has won a couple of times this season in what has been a fair campaign, but this is going to be testing at this level.

STORMY ANTARCTIC pulls in the most appeal in this one after taking a runner up finish here at Kempton in the Spring.

There was a big return to form for Stormy Atlantic on his latest run as well and the drop in trip should put him in at 9/4* (odds recorded at 21:09 GMT on November 23rd, 2021 at Coral).

Another for the shortlist is LADY ROCKSTAR who looks to have a lot more to be unlocked. This is going to be testing on her Polytrack debut because she is definitely on a strong upward curve of progress at the moment.

The final shortlisted one is PISTOLETTO who is too intriguing to ignore. He has a proven all-weather record and though he steps up in class, warrants respect with each-way claims.
