Tottenham will be facing up to Ajax in their Champions League semi-final. The Lilywhites nearly didn’t even get out of the group stage, but after big successes in ties against Borussia Dortmund and then that epic against Man City, they are through to the final four.

Ajax pulled off the shock of the tournament in knocking out reigning champions Real Madrid in the round of sixteen after a thumping second leg win at the Bernabeu. In the other semi-final it will see Liverpool facing up to Barcelona. That’s no easy task either. Barcelona coasted their way past Manchester United in the quarterfinals of the tournament, posting a 4-0 win over the Red Devils on aggregate. Barca just have a phenomenal home record in Europe and with the first leg at the Nou Camp, they will be looking to put enough distance between themselves and the Reds before visiting Anfield.

In the Europa League, Chelsea nearly collapsed their way out of the tournament in the quarterfinals against Slavia Prague.
