Leicester News and Form

Leicester’s hopes of a point were crushed in the last minute of action against Watford last weekend. So it wasn’t a great start for new boss Brendan Rodgers. Leicester are W1 D1 L6 in their last eight Premier League games. It hasn’t been a spectacular season at all from the Foxes who are at W5 D2 L7 at the King Power Stadium in the top flight. During their home campaign, Leicester have scored a total of 16 goals. There has not been a clean sheet recorded by Leicester in any of their last eight games, home and away combined.

Leicester have conceded in each of their last seven league home games actually. 61% of the goals that they have conceded at home have been after the halftime break. If you look at the last eight matches played by all teams in the league, Fulham are the only team to have earned fewer points than Leicester. The Foxes have actually only managed to open the scoring in just three of their home games this season. Six of their tens wins recorded this season have been by a one-goal margin.

Fulham News and Form

Fulham were involved in a West London derby against Chelsea last weekend at Craven Cottage and ended up losing 2-1. They did put in a great effort though with Scott Parker in charge for the first time. Still, it leaves them on a five-match losing streak in the Premier League and still, they are a long way from avoiding relegation at this point. Fulham have not enjoyed an away success in the Premier League this season, losing thirteen of fifteen played. They have scored only the nine goals on their travels.

Fulham have scored only once in their last three away games as well in the top flight. Last time out on the road they put in a really tame performance at Southampton, who are also in relegation trouble. Just once this season have Fulham recorded an away clean sheet. The Cottagers have not done well at the back at all with an average of 2.5 goals conceded per away game. In eleven of their 15 away games have Fulham been losing at the half time break (W1 D3). The Cottagers have conceded at least two goals in each of their last five Premier League away games and in each of their last nine, home and away.

Leicester v Fulham Predictions

Draw: Fulham looked way more positive last weekend and really challenged Chelsea. While their first away win may elude them still, they could at least avoid defeat in this one. Draw.
