There is plenty of winning form among the three-year-olds contesting the Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost Handicap.
Four of the seven runners were successful on their latest outing so this is probably a Class 3 event that is worth studying in the weeks ahead, especially when the Turf season gets underway

Will To Win evident in top weight
With just one defeat so far, on Turf and on his debut, WILL TO WIN is certainly living up to his name.
He has a perfect record on the all-weather having won on Fibresand, Tapeta and twice on the Polytrack at Lingfield. All of his wins have come over today’s distance of 6f and a new handicap of 96 means that the handicapper now regards him as being on the verge of Listed class.
He has made the running on both occasions that’s he’s run at Lingfield previously so stall six may not be ideal but it’s a small field so may not be a big issue. Jack Mitchell’s mount can be backed at 11/4 on Betfair.
Lion looking to Tower above opposition
Lion Tower has won twice at Southwell since the turn of the year but was beaten more than 11 lengths by Will To Win when making his best at Wolverhampton.
He’s obviously improved since then and is 9lb better off at the weights but is still looks a tall order to reverse placings – he is a best 5/1.
Macbeth has not earned a generous quote
Hamish Macbeth ran in Doha in December but the trip wasn’t a great success.
He’s now raced twice on the all-weather and was better at Lingfield eight days ago when finishing third, despite a slow start, but more is needed if he is reward best odds of 7/1 with Betway.
Corvair is no second string
It’s hard to evaluate Corvair as he’s only run in one handicap so far and didn’t really need to improve much to land restrictive odds.
A stablemate of Will To Win, he shouldn’t be regarded as the stable second string with Silvestre De Sousa booked to ride and only a 2lb rise to overcome but three of his four runs to date have been over 7f, including both victories. This is the acid test, for which he is priced up at 9/4 with Bet365.
Safari’s resolution again being questioned
Unusually for a Mark Johnston runner, Desert Safari seems a little short of battling qualities.
He travelled easily alongside a smart winner on his return to action at Newcastle but offered little when push comes to shove and eventually lost second place.
It is a worry that he also backed out of confrontations at Redcar and Newcastle in October having looked a useful performer in earlier wins at Wolverhampton and Kempton.
The short home straight at Lingfield may suit him better but there is a question mark over the faster surface and he is only a best 7/1 with Bet365.
Spear may be blunted
Triple Spear has won over 5f at Wolverhampton and Southwell but is having his ninth start since August last year.
He’s not really impressed over 6f so far and was a well-beaten favourite on his only previous start on Polytrack so there has to be a big doubt over him tackling stronger company on the surface. It’s unlikely a best 22/1 will tempt many punters.
A big ask for inexperienced Fahey runner
Richard Fahey tried Newcastle winner Hurcle over 7f on his first start for the yard but he never looked like winning.
His debut success came over 5f so this will be the Exceed And Excel’s colt’s first try over 6f, though his sister Lysander Belle did win twice over the distance, albeit on Tapeta. That surface may prove to be the ideal for Hurcle as well and he is available at 28/1 in this.
