Last season’s EFL League One winners Luton Town have had a tough season so far. The Hatters hover just above the drop zone with 17 points to their name. So far, Luton have won five, drawn two and lost 12 of their opening 19.

Paul Cook’s Wigan Athletic are another team who are struggling in the Championship at the moment. Two points from a possible 21 has taken the Latics into the bottom three. Since a superb 1-0 home win over Nottingham Forest in October, Wigan have drawn two and lost five.

The club from Greater Manchester are one of only three teams yet to win away from home in the Championship. Barnsley are the only side with a poorer away record, as Wigan have lost seven and drawn three of ten. The Latics have won just one away game in the Championship since August 2018.

Wigan have really struggled on their travels over the past 18 months or so, but Cook’s men could really do with an away win on Saturday after slipping into the relegation zone. At the time of writing, the Wigan victory is available at 15/8.

For one reason or another, the Latics just don’t turn up away from home under Cook.
