Manchester City News and Form

Can Manchester City now get up a big head of steam again after beating Liverpool 2-1 in their last league fixture? That cut Liverpool’s lead at the top to four points going into this weekend’s game. The win over Liverpool gave Man City back to back Premier League wins and moved them onto a W5 L3 record in their last eight played. Manchester City have home form this season of W10 L1 in the EPL and on home soil in the top flight, City have tallied 37 goals at an average of 3.36 per game at the Etihad.

The Citizens have averaged under a goal against this season and have earned a clean sheet in 27% of home games. They have failed to bank a clean sheet in any of their last eight Premier League games though. 91% of all their home games this season have gone over 2.5 goals and their half time record at the Etihad this season stands at W8 D2 L1. Not too surprisingly they haven’t failed to score in a league home game this term. In fact, they have scored at least two goals in each and every home fixture. City have opened the scoring in all of their league fixtures at the Etihad
