Not a normal fight

The bout between these two legends of the sport is not going to be the regular fare.

There are only 8-rounds scheduled and the fighters will be wearing larger gloves than usual.

This exhibition fight is supposed to be all about skills and not knockouts at all, as the two 50-somethings get together.

If a cut appears on either fighter then the bout will be stopped.

With no knockouts allowed, one wonders what kind of spectacle is going to happen.

So that makes it a little bit strange from a boxing betting perspective.

Unless things get crazy and someone’s uber-competitive streak takes over then it should be a tame bout.

Tyson has dropped 6lb to get into shape for the fight and social media videos have shown him displaying the retention of immense ability.

As for four-division world Champion Jones Jr, he last fought in 2018 so he hasn’t been away for as long as Tyson.

The Mike Tyson v Roy Jones Jr betting undercard

This is not one or the boxing purists at all. There is an undercard for this one with YouTube star Jake Paul taking on Nate Robinson, a former NBA player.

Paul is the 8/15 favourite in boxing betting for that contest, with Robinson out at 19/10* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes at 16:49 GMT on Wednesday, 25th November 2020)

The other fight saw KSI’s trainer Blake McKernan taking on former super-middleweight champion Badou Jack.

The latter is a massive odds on favourite at 1/14 to pick up the victory* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes at 16:49 GMT on Wednesday, 25th November 2020).
