There was a stunning tennis bet win at Ladbrokes this week as a punter turned £5 into just over £186,000. That was from an absolute monster of a wager, an 18-fold and a 17-fold acca to be exact. The punter had placed a £2.30 18-fold and a 18 15p 17-fold totalling to £5 on Tuesday, all of which came in to the sum of £186,574.91.
In the epic tennis bets, there were a lot of short-priced and odds-on favourite selections in the bet, with the longest priced option at 2/1 on Kirstie Ahn’s success over Sam Stosur.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “This will go down as one of the biggest tennis bets we’ve seen in recent years. Having correctly predicted the outcome of 18 matches, seven of which were odds against, we can do little but take our hat off to this plucky punter.”
