There has been a change of marketing direction from bookmaker Bet Victor and their new tv ad campaign which goes under the theme of ‘Simple As’ will get its debut  on Saturday at 5.28pm, Sky Sports 1, ahead of the Premier League clash between Leicester City and Manchester United.

The campaign was made by London based agency VCCP whose Vice Chairman Julian Douglas, said: “BetVictor offer something different in the gambling industry: great service and the best odds. And we wanted to reflect this difference in their advertising. So we’ve eschewed the conventions of the sector. No flashing lights, no geezers, no noise, no nonsense. Betting should be straightforward and fun: BetVictor. Simple As”

This means that Bet Victor moves away from their long-standing promotional character Maurice (played by Paul Kaye) as they look for a fresh and new creative approach.

Announcing the campaign, BetVictor marketing stated that it wanted to “reminding viewers of the BetVictor betting experience; simple and straightforward providing excellent value without the need for complex jargon.

Anton Bell Chief Marketing Officer for BetVictor commented on the launch of ‘Simple As’ saying “BetVictor has consistently offered the best odds on the Football League and Premier League for the last three and five years respectively. We concentrate on what we know is important to real bettors; good value, good product, great service and our new campaigns reflect this in an innovative way.”
