Fans craving Oasis reunion - will they get it?

Here we go again. Another rumour of an Oasis reunion? There was talk of Liam Gallagher pleading with his brother to get the band back together. The two brothers have been estranged for a long time now but Liam reached out to his older sibling on Twitter urging him to “get the Big O back together”.

It’s fair to say the Tweet has been doing the rounds. But apparently, the response from Noel (which hasn’t been made public) didn’t go all that well as Liam followed up with a tweet that said: “I’ll take that as a NO then as you were LG x.”

Still, it is something that fans are craving and it hasn’t stop punters having a flutter. Ladbrokes have a price of 5/2 odds* (betting odds taken on July 21, 2018 at 1:17 am) on an Oasis Reunion happening. The band broke up in 2009 and the brothers have been through a rocky relationship since then.

Earlier this year Liam said that Noel was keen to get the band back together, however, Noel’s wife Sara MacDonald was blocking the idea of it all. Liam took to Twitter to blame MacDonald for the band not being an item again, but insults towards her and Noel probably didn’t make the situation too much better.

Ladbrokes are also offering odds of 10/1* (betting odds taken on July 21, 2018 at 1:17 am) on Oasis performing on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury next year as well.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Fans are desperate to see Noel and Liam back together. Some might say Glastonbury could well be the perfect place to see Oasis’s comeback gig.”

The brothers haven’t performed together since 2009 when Oasis headlined V Festival at Weston Park.

Other bookmakers have offered 5/1* (betting odds taken on July 21, 2018 at 1:17 am) on the release of an Oasis single before the end of the year while they are 10/1 to make a comeback gig before the end of the year as well.
