Online betting site Boylesports have a golf betting promotion running for the Wells Fargo tournament on the PGA Tour this week. There is a good strong European charge at the head of the field for your Wells Fargo Championship golf betting, with Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood and Justin Rose all going well at the head of the market at Quail Hollow.

Rory McIlroy is running as outright favourite, as he has fantastic history here. This was the site of his PGA Tour breakthrough win back in 2010 and since has also lost in a play off there, and carded a top ten finish twelve months ago. McIlroy is the current owner of the course record as well and coming off some pretty strong performances at Houston and at the Masters, he is being backed heavily this week

So too is Lee Westwood, and like McIlroy, has good history to back him up here. He has landed top five finishes in the last two starts and some steadily improving results saw him trend all the way to a win in Malaysia recently. Tough to split McIlroy, Westwood and Phil Mickelson for this one, so probably all of them are going to be worth looking at in either the Place Market or the Top Ten Finish market.

Mickelson has actually never won the Wells Fargo, but no-one on the PGA Tour has earned more money than he has done at the event. Was third last year and has posted seven top tens in his last ten outings at Quail Hollow, so he naturally makes a good fit here, again looking great value at 5/4 in the top ten market, the same price at Westwood.

Other big names in the field include Justin Rose who has hit a bit of form heading to Quail Hollow, a place where he has never really made an impact and Jim Furyk, who is back for the first time since 2010 when he posted a top ten finish. Has also been going well with top twenty finishes in each of his last four starts this season.

Take a wager on the outright winner market, and if you’re backed selection finishes second (or tied 2nd), then you will get your lost stake back as a free bet from online betting site Boylesports. THe maximum refund is £100 per customer and new customers registering an account with Boylesports can get up to a free £50 bet as a welcome bonus.
