Premier League Matchday 2: Best Betting Football Tips

Liverpool vs. Burnley: EPL Betting Tip

Liverpool welcome Burnley to Anfield in Saturday’s early kick off in the Premier League. The Clarets ended the Reds’ remarkable home league unbeaten run with a shock win last season. Liverpool will be out for revenge in this one, and Jurgen Klopp’s boys are the clear favourites.

Liverpool started their league season with a comfortable win at Norwich City last weekend. The 2019-20 Premier League champions were far too strong for last term’s EFL Championship winners, with goals from Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah giving the Merseysiders an easy 3-0 win.

Our betting prediction:
Mohamed Salah to score first
23/10

Burnley’s season started with a disappointing home defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion. An early James Tarkowski effort put them in front, but Brighton scored twice deep into the second half to take the points at Turf Moor.

We fancy Liverpool to secure another big victory in this one. Klopp’s boys looked good last weekend, and we like the look of the Reds to win both halves again at 6/5.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Tottenham Hotspur: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

Nuno Espirito Santo heads back to Molineux this weekend, as Tottenham Hotspur play Wolverhampton Wanderers. The new Spurs boss had a very successful time at Wolves, but Nuno will be plotting Wanderers’ downfall in this one.

Bruno Lage’s tenure at Molineux started with a narrow loss at Leicester City last Saturday. There was not a lot to split the two Midlands teams at the King Power Stadium, but Jamie Vardy’s goal just before half time gave the Foxes a 1-0 win.

Tottenham pulled off the result of the opening weekend, getting the better of Premier League champions Manchester City. After riding an early storm at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs won it thanks to Heung-Min Son’s excellent effort ten minutes after the break.

After last weekend’s stunning victory over the champions, Tottenham will be desperate to follow that up with three points on the road this Sunday. The Spurs win and both teams to score is available at 15/4.

Arsenal vs. Chelsea: EPL Betting Odds & Predictions

London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea meet at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. The Gunners were embarrassed by newly promoted Brentford last weekend, while the Blues opened up their league season with an easy 3-0 home win over Crystal Palace.

Arsenal were lacklustre at the Brentford Community Stadium last Friday night, crashing to a deserved 2-0 loss. The Gunners’ defensive frailties were on full show yet again. Mikel Arteta will be demanding an instant response from his players.

Chelsea followed up their UEFA Super Cup success with a comfortable win over Patrick Vieira’s Palace last weekend. New signing Romelu Lukaku watched on as his teammates eased to victory thanks to strikes from Marcos Alonso, Christian Pulisic and Trevoh Chalobah.

Arsenal were poor at Brentford, and things could get a lot worse this weekend. The feel-good factor is in full force at Chelsea right now, and we are backing Tuchel’s boys to seal a comfortable victory at the Emirates. You can get 43/20 for the Blues to win -1.

Arsenal 18/5

Chelsea 10/13

West Ham United vs. Leicester City: Best EPL Betting Tips on Matchday 2

The Premier League matchday two action concludes on Monday night at the London Stadium when West Ham play host to Leicester. These two clubs finished in the Premier League’s top six last term, and we should be in for an entertaining evening in the capital.

West Ham came from behind twice to claim a superb win at St James’ Park on the opening weekend. They blew Newcastle United away in the second period, as goals from Said Benrahma, Tomas Soucek and Michail Antonio turned the game on its head to give the Hammers a 4-2 victory.

Leicester started their season with a win over Wolves in an all-Midlands affair at the King Power Stadium. Jamie Vardy rolled back the years by netting the only goal of the game. Can Brendan Rodgers’ boys follow that up with three points on their travels on Monday night?

On paper, West Ham and Leicester seem pretty well matched these days, and we fancy the pair to play out an entertaining draw at the London Stadium. Back the draw and both teams to score at the tempting odds of 10/3.

West Ham United 13/8
