Premier League Matchday 22: Best Betting Football Tips

Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Crystal Palace: EPL Betting Tip

This weekend’s Premier League action gets underway with a derby game between Brighton and Crystal Palace on Friday night. Both sides will be gunning for all three points at the Amex Stadium, but the Seagulls are the bookies’ favourites on home soil at 21/20.

Brighton have been tough to beat this term, losing just four of their opening 19 Premier League matches. Only Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool have suffered fewer defeats in England’s top tier up until now. Albion are unbeaten in four in all competitions, winning three and drawing one.

Our betting prediction:
Neal Maupay to score first
15/4

Crystal Palace have been in patchy form of late. The Eagles, who sit 12th in the table, were beaten at home by West Ham United in their last league match. However, they won 2-1 at Millwall in the FA Cup in midweek. Their one and only away league success came at Man City in October.

On paper, Brighton and Palace seem pretty evenly matched. The rivals played out a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park earlier in the season, and the draw and both teams to score in this one is available at the solid price of 15/4.

Manchester City vs. Chelsea: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

The standout Premier League fixture of the round is the blockbuster game at the Etihad Stadium between leaders Man City and second-place Chelsea. After recent results, City have opened an unassailable lead at the summit.

Man City have won 11 Premier League matches in a row to take control in the title race. After a last-gasp win at the Emirates Stadium in their last one, City moved ten points clear of Chelsea. Can they make it 12 victories in a row and extend their advantage even further this weekend?

Along with Liverpool, Chelsea are Man City’s closest challenges this season. However, after four draws from their past five league matches, the Blues have slipped well off the pace. Nevertheless, a win in Manchester on Saturday will close the gap to seven points.

Man City edged the meeting at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season, with Gabriel Jesus netting the only goal of the game. Back the Citizens to win to nil again at 19/10.

Aston Villa vs. Manchester United: EPL Betting Odds & Predictions

On Saturday evening in the Premier League, Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa and Ralf Rangnick’s Man United meet again. The pair locked horns in the FA Cup at Old Trafford on Monday, with the Red Devils running out 1-0 winners.

Gerrard started life at Villa Park in fine fashion, guiding the Villans to four wins from his opening six. However, since a 2-0 victory at Norwich City in mid-December, Villa have lost three in a row in all competitions. In their last league match, the Midlands club were beaten 2-1 at Brentford.

Rangnick suffered his first loss as Man United boss in the Red Devils’ last Premier League outing, as they crashed to a disappointing 1-0 home reverse to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Still, the Manchester club bounced back with a narrow FA Cup win over Villa earlier this week.

Aston Villa won 1-0 at Old Trafford in the reverse Premier League meeting, but we fancy Man United to get revenge at Villa Park. Take a punt on the away team to win by one goal, which is nicely priced at 13/4.

Manchester United 13/10

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Arsenal: Best Premier League Betting Tips on Matchday 22

North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal square off in a mouth-watering Premier League fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. With both teams in decent form in the league, this one could go either way, though Spurs are the slight favourites.

Since Antonio Conte arrived at Tottenham, the Lilywhites are undefeated in eight Premier League matches, with Spurs winning five and drawing three. They have won seven and drawn one of eight league and cup affairs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since the change of management.

Before the devastating 2-1 home reverse to Man City in their last Premier League game, Arsenal had won four in a row in the league, seeing off Southampton, West Ham, Leeds United and Norwich. Mikel Arteta’s men start the weekend two points above Tottenham in the table.

Both teams will be desperate for all three points from this one, but we fancy the rivals to cancel each other out in an entertaining derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Put some money on the draw and over 2.5 goals at the eye-opening price of 10/1.
