Premier League Matchday 36: Best Betting Football Tips

Newcastle United vs. Manchester City: EPL Betting Tip

Having been crowned champions in the week, Pep Guardiola’s Man City will be in a celebratory mood when they travel to St James’ Park on Friday to face Steve Bruce’s Newcastle. The title is sewn up, but City will still be looking for maximum points from this one.

Newcastle lived dangerously close to the edge this season, but Bruce’s boys will survive comfortably in the end. The Magpies have been in fine fettle of late, winning three of their past five. Last time out, United shocked Leicester City with a 4-2 win at the King Power Stadium.

Man City were beaten by Chelsea in their previous Premier League match, but Leicester’s win at Old Trafford on Tuesday handed the title to Pep’s troops. With three games to play, the Citizens can still finish on 89 points.

Man City will be buzzing after securing yet another Premier League trophy, and the champions should be too strong for Newcastle here. Check out the tempting odds of 17/10 for the hosts to win both halves.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs. West Ham United: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

Graham Potter’s Brighton entertain David Moyes’ West Ham at the Amex Stadium on Saturday night. With the Hammers chasing down a Champions League spot, this is a huge game for the London club. Can West Ham leave the coast with a massive three points?

Brighton are ten points clear of 18th-placed Fulham and cannot be caught by any of the bottom three. It has been a testing season for Potter & Co., but the Seagulls have secured safety with a handful of games spare.

West Ham have without doubt been the surprise package in the Premier League this season, spending most of the campaign in the top six. Ahead of this fixture at the Amex, the Irons are only six points behind fourth-place Chelsea with a game in hand.

After the disappointing defeat to Everton last time out, which was their third reverse in four, United will want to return to winning ways here. The West Ham win is priced at 11/8.

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers: EPL Betting Odds & Predictions

One of the more attractive fixtures of the weekend is Sunday’s showdown at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium between Tottenham and Wolves. Spurs want to end their season in the European places, while Wanderers look likely to finish in the bottom half.

Tottenham are currently in seventh spot on 56 points. Spurs will miss out on the Champions League, but the Lilywhites will be desperate to seal UEFA Europa League football for next season. Three points here will put them in a commanding position.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves have had a poor season by their high standards, but Wanderers head to the capital having won three of their past five. With Everton and Man United to follow, Wolves have a tricky end to their campaign, though.

Since arriving back in the Premier League, Wolves have won on their two visits to Tottenham. However, we fancy Spurs in this one. The home win is available at 11/20.

Tottenham Hotspur 11/20

Wolverhampton Wanderers 11/2

West Bromwich Albion vs. Liverpool: Best Premier League Betting Tips on Matchday 36

After Thursday’s excellent win at Old Trafford, Liverpool will be looking for another three points when they travel to The Hawthorns to play relegated West Brom on Sunday afternoon. The Reds are the overwhelming favourites.

West Brom’s results have improved in recent weeks, but the Baggies will be an EFL Championship club once again next season. The Midlands outfit have not been good enough, picking up just five wins from 35 league fixtures.

Liverpool moved up to fifth after the 4-2 midweek win at Old Trafford. Jurgen Klopp’s boys are now just four points behind Chelsea with a game in hand. With Thomas Tuchel’s Blues playing Leicester in the Emirates FA Cup final this weekend, Liverpool could close the gap to just one point.

The Merseysiders will be looking for a big win at The Hawthorns this Sunday. You can get the tempting odds of 6/4 for Liverpool to win -2.
