Premier League Matchday 6: Best Betting Football Tips

Aston Villa vs. Leeds United: EPL Betting Tip

Dean Smith’s Aston Villa will be gunning for 15 points from a possible 15 when Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds visit Villa Park this Friday night. The Villans have certainly been the surprise package in the Premier League so far.

Aston Villa have picked up four wins out of four so far, seeing off Sheffield United, Fulham, Liverpool and Leicester City. After walloping the Premier League champions 7-2 at Villa Park, Villa returned from the international break with a 1-0 win at the King Power Stadium.

Leeds have been decent on their Premier League return, taking seven points from five games. United have beaten Fulham and Sheffield United as well as holding the mighty Manchester City to a draw. However, they will have been disappointed with last Monday’s narrow home loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Aston Villa have been sensational so far, fully deserving their handsome points tally. We can see Smith’s boys being too strong for the Whites on Friday. Take a punt on Villa to win -1 at 7/2.

West Ham United vs. Manchester City: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

David Moyes’ West Ham United entertain Pep Guardiola’s Man City at the London Stadium on Saturday. The Hammers will still be buzzing from last weekend’s comeback at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but this will be a tough test for Moyes’ boys.

West Ham have sprung into life by taking seven points from their last three. After thumping Wolves (4-0) and Leicester (3-0), the Irons came from three goals down to draw 3-3 and stun Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last time out.

Before last weekend’s narrow home win over Arsenal, City had started their Premier League season with just four points from their opening three. However, they will be hoping that the win over the Gunners will kick-start to their campaign.

West Ham have been excellent of late, but the Hammers have a pretty dreadful recent record against Man City. The Manchester club have won each of the last nine league and cup meetings, scoring a staggering 30 goals and conceding just three. Back the away team to be winning at half time and full time in this one at 22/25.

West Ham United 7/1

Manchester United vs. Chelsea: EPL Betting Odds & Predictions

The standout Premier League fixture of round six takes place at Old Trafford on Saturday evening. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United take on Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at the Theatre of Dreams.

To be fair to Man Utd, since their 6-1 mauling by Tottenham, the Red Devils have hit back with two impressive wins. They beat Newcastle United 4-1 at St James’ Park last Saturday, which they followed up with a stunning 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in Paris in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.

Chelsea started their European campaign with a 0-0 home draw with Sevilla, which kind of sums up their season so far. The Blues have blown hot and cold, winning only three of eight games across all competitions.

United have had a great week, and we fancy Ole’s boys to top it off by beating Lampard’s men at Old Trafford on Saturday. Check out the tempting odds of 3/1 for the hosts to win and both teams to score in this one.

Arsenal vs. Leicester City: Best Premier League Betting Tips on Matchday 6

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester go head-to-head at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday. These two have already met this season, with the Gunners winning 2-0 at the King Power Stadium in the Carabao Cup last month.

Arsenal have had a decent season so far, taking nine points from a possible 15. Only Liverpool and Man City have beaten them in this season’s Premier League. The Gunners are favourites in this one and should see off the Foxes on home turf.

Since winning their first three league matches of the season, including a superb 5-2 victory at Man City, Leicester have lost two on the spin in the Premier League, failing to score in both. Last time out, City conceded late to lose 1-0 at home to Aston Villa.

Being on their own patch, Arsenal will fancy their chances of getting back to winning ways on Sunday night. The London side are priced at 5/2 to win to nil at the Emirates.
