Premier League Matchday 8: Best Betting Football Tips

Everton vs. Manchester United: EPL Betting Tip

Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United meet in a huge Premier League fixture at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon. The Toffees have failed to win in three, while the Red Devils are down in 15th place at present.

Since opening up with four league victories on the bounce, Everton have taken just one point from their last three. The Toffees drew with rivals Liverpool before losing successive away matches to Southampton and Newcastle United.

Our betting prediction:
Dominic Calvert-Lewin to score first
5/1

Man Utd have made a woeful start to their Premier League campaign. The Red Devils have played six times, losing three, drawing one and winning only two. Despite a pick up in results in October, United have lost back-to-back games to Arsenal and Istanbul Basaksehir (UEFA Champions League).

With the pressure really starting to mount on Ole, the United boss will be desperate for all three points from this one. Everton could also do with a win having lost two on the spin, but we can see this ending in a frustrating stalemate. The draw and under 1.5 goals is available at 10/1.

West Ham United vs. Fulham: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

London sides West Ham United and Fulham clash at the London Stadium on Saturday night. The Cottagers picked up their first league win of the season in their last outing, but Scott Parker’s men are the underdogs in this one.

David Moyes’ West Ham have had some tricky games of late, playing Tottenham Hotspur, Man City and Liverpool in their last three. After holding Spurs and City to draws, the Hammers were narrowly beaten at Anfield last time out.

Fulham, last season’s EFL Championship play-off winners, started their season by taking just one point from their first six Premier League games. However, the Cottagers secured a much-needed win last Monday, with Bobby Decordova-Reid and Ola Aina netting in a 2-0 home victory over West Bromwich Albion.

West Ham have been a tough nut to crack at the London Stadium in recent games, winning three and drawing one of their last four in all competitions on their own patch. The Irons should be too strong for Fulham this weekend. Take a punt on West Ham to win -1 at 21/10.

Leicester City vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers: EPL Betting Odds & Predictions

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester and Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves meet at the King Power Stadium on Sunday. With both teams in fine fettle ahead of this all-Midlands contest, this could be tight game at the King Power.

Since those shock back-to-back home defeats to West Ham and Aston Villa, the Foxes have responded with five straight league and cup wins. In midweek, City trounced Braga 4-0 at home in UEFA Europa League action.

After two league defeats on the spin, Wolves have won three and drawn one of their past four. Wanderers have been exceptionally good at the back, shipping just one goal in those four matches. In fact, only Arsenal have conceded fewer so far.

These two teams are very well matched on paper, and this will surely be a close encounter at the King Power. With that in mind, put a few quid on the 0-0 draw at the tempting odds of 13/2.

Leicester City 11/8

Wolverhampton Wanderers 49/20

Manchester City vs. Liverpool: Best Premier League Betting Tips on Matchday 8

The biggest game of the 2020-21 Premier League season so far sees giants Man City and Liverpool square off at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The English champions are top of the table, but Pep Guardiola’s boys are the favourites to get the win on home soil.

Man City find themselves languishing in mid-table in the Premier League, already five points behind Liverpool. The Citizens have not been at their best, winning just three of their opening six. However, Pep’s men are in good form at present, winning six and drawing two of eight across all competitions since that shock 5-2 home loss to Leicester.

Liverpool have won five league and cup matches on the spin, thumping Atalanta 5-0 away from home in the Champions League last time out. The Reds’ last two league wins have been narrow 2-1 home successes over Sheffield United and West Ham, but Jurgen Klopp’s men sit proudly at the top of the table after seven games.

As is usually the case when these two rivals lock horns, this one could go either way at the Etihad. Having said that, we fancy the hosts to nick a narrow win on home turf. There is great value in the Man City victory and both teams to score at 21/10.
