The Premier League betting tips for Sunday look at the many different scenarios still to be played out on the final day of the season.

Champions League spots and relegation issues are still to be sorted out, along with, of course, the Premier League title.

Things are lining up to be a cracking final day for the 2021/22 season and we take a look at the best Premier League betting tips for Sunday.

Premier League Title Winner Odds

Man City 1/7, Liverpool 5/1
* (betting odds recorded at 18:40 GMT on May 20th, 2022 at Bet365)

Top Two Premier League Standings

  • 1st – Man City W28 D6 L3 GD +72 Pts 90
  • 2nd – Liverpool W27 D8 L2 GD +66 Pts 89

The title is Manchester City’s to lose at this point. The scenario in front of them on Sunday is pretty straightforward. Win and the title is theirs.

The Citizens head into the final round of action a point ahead of Liverpool with a vastly superior goal difference.

Manchester City are 1/5 odds-on to beat Aston Villa at the Etihad* (betting odds recorded at 18:40 GMT on May 20th, 2022 at Bet365).

Liverpool have to win to get the title in their hands.

However they have the extra condition of needing Manchester City to fail to beat Aston Villa as well. The Redd close out their campaign at home against Wolves.

Premier League Top 4 Finish Odds

Premier League Standings

  • 4th – Tottenham W21 D5 L11 GD +24 Pts 68
  • 5th – Arsenal W21 D3 L13 GD +9 Pts 66

Tottenham 1/16, Arsenal 14/1
* (betting odds recorded at 18:40 GMT on May 20th, 2022 at Bet365)

A dreadful turn of form by Arsenal at the end of the season has seen the Gunners throw away their chance of a top-four finish.

Back to back defeats has left them two points behind Tottenham in that particular race.

Not only do they need to turn their form around and beat Everton at home on Saturday, but they will also be relying on relegated Norwich to beat Tottenham.

So Tottenham, away at the Canaries, are clearly in the driving seat for a Champions League spot having won three of their last four matches (D1).

Premier League Tips – Top 6 Finish Odds

Manchester United 2/7, West Ham 5/2
* (betting odds recorded at 18:40 GMT on May 20th, 2022 at Bet365)

Premier League Standings

  • 6th – Manchester United W16 D10 L11 GD +1 Pts 58
  • 7th – West Ham W16 D8 L13 GD +11 Pts 56

The race for a top-six finish in the Premier League is on and this could be a very exciting climax as well.

Heading into Sunday’s action Manchester United hold a two-point advantage over West Ham in the race.

The Red Devils, who have lost three of their last five Premier League matches, have a tricky trip to Crystal Palace to deal with.

West Ham, who have also been out of form with only one win in their last six, are on the road as they face Brighton.

Nothing but a victory and Manchester United failing to beat Palace would do for the Hammers.

Premier League Betting Tips Top Goalscorer

Mo Salah 1/2, Son-Heung Min 6/4
* (betting odds recorded at 18:40 GMT on May 20th, 2022 at Bet365)

This race may not be totally done either with Salah leading the charts by just one goal over Tottenham’s Son-Heung Min.

Salah has not been in great scoring form for the last couple of months and has been dealing with recent injury setbacks too.

So could the door be open for Son-Heung Min to target the Premier League Golden Boot?

With Tottenham visiting bottom side Norwich on the weekend, he could get the opportunities.

Premier League Betting Tips – Relegation Odds

Leeds 4/11, Burnley 2/1
* (betting odds recorded at 18:40 GMT on May 20th, 2022 at Bet365)

Premier League Standings

  • 17th – Burnley W7 D14 L16 GD -18 Pts 35
  • 18th – Leeds W8 D11 L18 GS -42 Pts 35

With Everton doing enough to get themselves safe with a game to spare, Sunday’s survival fight in the Premier League boils down to Leeds and Burnley.

Leeds are in the drop zone because of their terrible goal difference, so they have to better whatever result Burnley get on the day.

Leeds have taken two points from their last five games and have to throw everything into their road trip to Brentford.

Burnley dug out a precious point against Aston Villa in midweek.

The Clarets will be defending home soil at Turf Moor against Newcastle with their Premier League survival on the line.

  • Leicester v Southampton
  • Liverpool v Wolves

Arsenal v Everton

The Gunners have dropped their last two matches, away defeats without scoring against Tottenham and Newcastle.

Arsenal have won their last two on home turf however and hold an overall W12 D2 L4 home record.

Given that Everton now have no pressure, it’s hard to see a great deal of fight coming from them.

In midweek, they overtuned a two-goal halfitme defecit to beat Cyrastl Palace.

That was at Goodison and their season’s away record is dreadful.

  • Arsenal are on a three-match losing streak against Everton in the Premier League
  • Arsenal are undfeated in their final match of a campaign across the last 16 seasons
  • Everton are W4 D1 in their last five matches on the final day of a season
  • Everton won away at Arsenal last season, but haven’t won consecutive away matches against them since 1987
  • Arsenal have won the two previous final-day EPL meetings

Arsenal 4/11, Draw 15/4, Everton 8/1

Brentford v Leeds

This one is all about the survival hopes of Leeds who have to come up with a victory in the match. The good news for them is that Brentford are safe and have nothing to play for.

The bad news is that Brentford have won four of their last six matches and Leeds have won only four away fixtures all season.

  • Leeds are winless in their last 10 league visits to Brenftord
  • Brentford have claimed one win in their last six league matches against Leeds.
  • From 13 previous EPL campaigns, Leeds have lost on the final day just once before
  • 11 of the last 14 goals from Leeds have come after the halftime break
  • This season’s earlier meeting resulted in a 2-2 draw

Brentford 11/8, Draw 14/,5 Leeds 7/4

Brighton v West Ham

West Ham have to win and hope that Manchester United don’t land three points away at Crystal Palace.

That is the way that the Hammers reach the UEFA COnference League next season.

The Hammers’ deep run in this season’s Europa League really took a toll on their league form.

The Irons have lost four of their last eight and the only points they have taken in their last five away games was at Norwich.

Brighton are in excellent form in contrast and could well be strong enough to keep West Ham at arm’s length.

  • Brighton have never lost a Premier League match against West Ham (W3 D6).
  • The Seagulls have lost one of their last ten league home matches against the Hammers
  • Each of the last six league meetings have produced a draw
  • Brighton are W1 L3 in their four previous final-day matches in the Premier League
  • West Ham are W4 D1 in their five final-day Premier League fixtures

Brighton 5/4, Draw 5/2, West Ham 2/1

Burnley v Newcastle

Can the Clarets secure their top-flight status? Victory at Turf Moor would guarantee that on Sunday.

Their big revival has, but largely happened on home turf.

Burnley need to call on all that fantastic backing they get from the stands one more time. Newcastle have nothing to play for in midtable.

  • Newcastle are on a three-match winning streak against Burnley in the top flight.
  • Burnley have won three of their last four matches at Turf Moor
  • Newcastle have gone W1 L4 in their last five away matches
  • Only Liverpool, Man City and Spurs have won more EPL points in 2022 than Newcastle have done.
  • Newcastle have won all but one of their last seven matches on the final day of the season

Burnley 5/4, Draw 2/1, Newcastle 11/5

Chelsea v Watford

A midweek draw against Leicester sees Chelsea’s indifferent form continue.

But the main objective of securing a top four finish has been achieved. So they have an easy afternoon ahead of them.

Watford are down and out and may just be going through the motions in a nothing match.

  • Chelsea are undefeated in their seven previous home matches against Watford (W6 D1)
  • The Hornets have lost all but one of their last nine matches against Chelsea
  • Chelsea have not been beaten on the final day of the season since 1993
  • Watford have tallied their second-highest amount of league defeats in a season
  • Watford are W1 D2 L4 from their seven previous matches on the final day of the Premier League season

Chelsea 1/6 Draw 7/1, Watford 16/1

Crystal Palace v Man Utd

Crystal Palace will be baffled as to how they lost at Goodison Park at Everton in midweek after holding a 2-0 halftime lead.

The Eagles are in excellent form at home, with a W3 D2 unbeaten streak currently going.

In that sequence, they drew with Man City and beat Arsenal.

Manchester United are on an absolute shocking five-match away losing streak, conceding at least three goals in four of those five matches.

Home and away the only win that they have taken in their last five was at home against Brentford.

A win guarantees United a top-six finish, anything less and West Ham could leapfrog them if they win at Brighton.

  • Crystal Palace are winless in 12 previous Premier League home matches against Manchester United
  • The Eagles have never lost a home EPL match on the final day of the season (W6 D3)
  • Palace haven’t won consecutive home matches since March 2020
  • Manchester United last completed a season-double over Crystal Palace in 2017/18
  • Man United will record their lowest ever points tally in a Premier League season no matter the result

Crystal Palace 2/1, Draw 13/5 Man Utd 5/4

Leicester v Southampton

This Premier League fixture is a dead rubber but Leicester only need a point to confirm a top ten finish.

They have been in decent form recently, taking 7 of the last 9 points available.

The end of the season really can’t come quickly enough for the Saints who have banked one point from their last five matches only.

  • The Saints are W2 L1 in their last three league visits to Leicester.
  • The Foxes won this season’s earlier meeting their only win in their last five against them.
  • Southampton have received four red cards in their last seven matches against Leicester
  • Leicester have lost just two of their last 12 league home matches
  • Southampton have dropped points points from losing positions this season than anyone else (29)

Leicester 4/5, Draw 3/1, Southampton 3/1

Liverpool v Wolves

The Reds are playing for the Premier League title and part of that equation requires them securing a home win over Wolves.

Given the occasion and a brilliant unbeaten W14 D4 home record this season, they will probably take it.

Failure to win a match for a while now has left Wolves short of reaching Europe next season.

  • Liverpool have won their last 10 at Anfield against Wolves in the league
  • Wolves have failed to score in their last eight visits to Anfield
  • Liverpool haven’t lost a match on the final day of the season since Jurgen Klopp took over (W5 D1).
  • Liverpool are undefeated in their last 15 matches played at home on the final day of the season
  • Wolves are now winless in six Premier League fixtures

Man City v Aston Villa

Is there one final twist or turn in the Premier League title race?

Manchester City will win the league title if they beat Aston Villa, which they are odds-on favourites to do.

Since losing the Champions League semi-final, they have been in red hot domestic form and have tallied 13 goals in their last three home matches.

Aston Villa are winless in three and did have an extra shift in midweek as they were held to a draw by Burnley.

  • Man City have won all but one of their last ten Premier League matches against Villa (D1).
  • Villa have lost 15 of their last 16 league visits to Man City, and are currently on an eleven match losing streak there
  • Villa have a W1 D3 L17 from their last 21 away matches in the Premier League against the leaders at the time
  • The Citizens are W10 D2 L1 from their last thirteen matches on the final day of the season
  • Man City have only lost one of their last 27 Premier League matches

Man City 1/6, Draw 7/1, Aston Villa 16/1

Norwich v Tottenham

A draw for Tottenham will guarantee Champions League football next season for them.

With their strong end of season form, they will be expected to take all three points at Carrow Road.

Spurs have finished well with a W3 D2 record in their last five. Norwich have tamely gone back to the Championship, but a victory could see them avoid finishing bottom.

  • Norwich have claimed one win in their last ten league matches against Spurs (D3 L5).
  • Tottenham have only lost one of their last 10 road trips to Norwich
  • Norwich have a W2 D3 L4 record in the Premier League on the final day of the season
  • Spurs have a W8 D2 L1 record in their last eleven matches on the final day of the season
  • There has been an average of 5.8 goals per game in Tottenham’s last six final league matches

Norwich 17/2, Draw 11/2, Tottenham 1/4
