There was a big winner from Dublin cropping up at Boylesports last week. The punter cashed in on a horse racing accumulator and Lucky 15 to walk off with a tidy sum of cash. The winner had selected a €0.70 Lucky 15 and a €1 each-way accumulator on the same four horses from meets at Chelmsford and Carlisle.
Monsieur Jimmy (6/1), Majboor (6/1) and Northern Powerhouse (7/1) powered home to fill the first three legs of the bet from Thursday, August 30th and that left everything riding on Flint Hill who was a 9/2 shot when selected but ended up on the drift as a 7/1 price to start. He completed his win by a half a length at Carlisle to complete the bet.
The accumulator returned €5,304.34 and the Lucky 15 paid €6,322.86, meaning the punter’s account was better off to the tune of €11,627.20 by the time the bet was settled.
