Punter takes £20k from £1.15 each-way racing acca

Punter nails a massive win from an 8-fold racing wager

Over the weekend there was a big acca racing winner reported. A Paddy Power punter secured an astonishing eightfold bet on the horses on Saturday, defying odds of 18,098/1 to get the win.

It was only a £2.30 bet that was played and it returned a staggering £20,887 and it was all within 90 minutes of racing action from the UK and Ireland.

The intrepid punter got the bet off to a winning start with Kipling in the 15:25 at Navan from a 16/5 SP.

Century Dream then scored at Goodwood from 3/1 before 2/1 shot Paloma Blue delivered at 2/1. So within 15 minutes of the first selection scoring the £1.15 each-way acca had already made over £60.

The wager continued at 16:00 at Navan with Saw April scoring at 6/5 followed by 33/10 punt Seinesational at Goodwood and 7/4 pick Rapid Response at Wexford getting to the line first.

At this point with six of the eight legs down, the wager would have returned £2,438 but the punter didn’t go for a cash-out option, risking it all on the final two selections.

Amir Kabir got himself into the winners’ circle in the 16:30 at Newmarket, leaving everything on Galileo Chrome in the 17:05 at Navan.

He duly obliged from a 2/1 SP to land the gutsy acca racing winner over £20k.
